@knepiosko No worries! Thanks for the help so far!
Hi @knepiosko, Thanks for the quick response. Do you know if there is a way to specify financial configuration for IFSAPP? Would IFSAPP have to be an employee(which I know we can’t do)? For testing purposes I can schedule the background job under another user but for production purposes I would need to use some sort of IFS admin account. As it would not be good practice to use a random user and we are so low on licenses I can’t see my company letting me create a user just to run a script. Thanks,Eli
Hi @william.klotz It is looking like you are correct in determining that we can’t do that. Between my own research, your help, and reaching out to a contractor we have all come to the same conclusion. Sadly, I don’t think we are going to be getting Aurena any time soon but I will let the people above me know that it’s a doable action in Aurena and not IEE. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. Thanks, Eli
Hi Yohan, Thanks for the help but I already read that post. It does not help or clarify my question. I’m wanting to know more technically specific on what needs to be done to create the custom button(if possible), not what I can do to hide or show buttons that are already there. In that post that user is asking about a specific functionality for a button, I am asking for more details. Thanks, Eli
Hi @Himasha Abeywickrama, Yes, I have looked through the entirety of that documentation. According to the documentation you linked this is what it is saying: “The generated code for model file will be located in the gen folder which could be found at {ProjectName}\build\gen. Database related generated code could be found in the db folder and Service layer related generated code will be in the server folder.” Our application server is on the IFS cloud, so is that where these files I’m missing are stored? Am I just missing the .project file then to be able to make these changes? Thanks, Eli
Hi guys, so after trying the code that I was given from @Janitha Jinarajadasa this is the error that I keep getting. Does anyone have any other ideas for this? Thanks for all your help again!
Thanks! Very helpful!
Hi @ChanakaAmarasekara, Thanks for the thorough answer. This helps a lot!Eli Williams
Hello @ChanakaAmarasekara and @Oshada Samarasinghe @ChanakaAmarasekara Is that page available in the IEE? I do not have access to the Aurena client. What I am asking essentially is how to I use an image that is NOT a logo for an order report without having access to the Aurena client as I have now learned I do not have access to that. Hi Eli, Please refer the below community post. Best Regards, Oshada Thank you for your help however, I am not asking about a logo image. I have already replaced all logo default images for my order reports using the company function inside of IEE and not the Aurena client. Thanks, Eli Williams
Hi Joe, That helps a lot knowing that. I will rewrite the code so we can circumvent that. Thank you,Eli Williams
HI @Shardha Weeratunga , Thank you so much. I’ll mark your answer as solved as it looks like there is not a fix at this time and research what other workarounds we may have for this. Thanks, Eli Williams
Hi @Shardha Weeratunga, Thanks for your thorough explanation on this. Is there a site where I can look up this bug so I can see if it is something that may be fixed or a workaround I can find forthe future? Thanks, Eli Williams
HI @Shardha Weeratunga, This is the Projects Analysis window from the Financials-->Project Accounting → GL Project Analysis and Reports → Projects Analysis Thanks, Eli Williams
Hello @Dumeesha Wanigarathna, Thank you for your response. There is not one for 1151-8 but there is data available for 1160-19 and data available for the one after that too which is 116-20 and a few others on the list that I have. Is there something else you would like me to try? Thanks, Eli
