Okay, I am not sure if device logs were added to the iOS version on Apps 9. Perhaps you can view the Touch Apps Server logs to see if there is an error shown there which may give you an idea of the problem. Cheers James Thanks for your help, James. We are also struggling to find any meaningful logs on the TAS, could you point us in the right direction? RegardsMark
Also get the following error
MWO 3.19 on Apple iPadTransaction queued on the transactions tab on the sync monitor page. Tried on WIFI and 5G but the transactions do not clear.
You need to look at the device logs rather than the server logs. Issue is in the MWO App rather than server Cheers James That makes sense. Where do I find the device logs? I can’t seem to find them. We are using apple Ipads and on MWO version 3.19
Have a look in the device logs to see if you can see a reason why the transactions are not synchronizing Cheers James We have checked the log files in IEE and can’t see any issues. The mobile devices are receiving data fine but are failing to send data back.
Could be because PLSQL AP is not correctly configured. Please check the state of PLSQL AP from IFS monitoring screen. I have checked the monitoring and the PL/SQL is showing as red. How do we go about investigating / repairing the issue. Mark
Hi All, Does anyone know what the cause of this error may be? Our mobile devices are initializing as the should and are passing information back to IFS but push messages out to the mobile devices are failing with this message. UTL_HTTP_DOWN: Error when trying to communicate with the application server. This is likely due to one of the following reasons. 1) Network problems. 2) The application server being offline. 3) PL/SQL Access Provider connection string (http://pd-ifs9-appa.ports:56080/fndext/soapgateway) is incorrect Thanks Mark Could be as simple as the URL being wrong - have you entered https? I have checked the URL and it is correct.Thank you for your input
Have you followed the steps to install the storage and package SQL files? See documentation section “Install Data Archive Objects” https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/260_data_management/020_data_archiving/210_general_data_archiving/020_how_to_setup.htm Storage file needs to be installed in the database you want to store the archived data, if the data should be moved. Package file needs to be installed in the database you created the data archive object, with appowner user. Thanks for the information I can see where is was going wrong.
