Hello Dario and Johan,Is there any way to get information into the “Alt Handling Unit ID” field via the Wadaco process? We attempted to use the SSCC field for our need, but it requires the entered data to be 18 digits which presents an issue for us. Thank you
To be more specific, we are looking to enter the Alt Handling Unit ID during the “Report_Picking_Part” Wadaco process. At this point in the process, the handling unit ID has already been created on a Shipment.
I apologize for being unclear. Thank you for providing that information. I see now that the SHP_ALT_HANDLING_UNIT_LABEL_ID field can only be searched via the “Report Picking Parts” Wadaco process. I was attempting to generate a new value for this field during that process. In this scenario, a Handling Unit ID was generated using the “Create Handling Unit” Wadaco Process. During the “Report Picking Parts” Wadaco process, I am attempting to generate a new Alt Handling Unit Label ID for the Handling Unit that I am attaching the “Picked” parts too. As you can see in the below screenshots, the Alt Handling Unit Label ID has not been generated prior to the “Report Picking Parts” Wadaco process. Basically, I am trying to find a field within the Shipment Handling Unit that I can generate a unique, alphanumeric value during the “Report Picking Parts” Wadaco process.
Okay, thank you for all of the help!
I have found the change password setting in IFS extremely helpful.
A webinar on operations statistics and how IFS calculates the productivity / efficiencies would be great!
That may cause more confusion than it is worth. We would then have to have an operator take count on that step every time which could be overlooked. I think we are going to do training for the operators to manually click the “Receive” check box at the bottom of the pop up when they take count on SFWB. Thanks!
Great, thank you for the help!
Can you explain how to create conditional formatting for a custom field? What screen is it done from?
Okay, I understand now. Thank you!!
I’ve had to find a work around for this as well. If you have VLOOKUP or other formulas written, you may have to change them looking for “00002” to just “2” within that specific column. That being said, you may also have to standardize the column layouts that your using to export the data.
Hello Ed,Have you discovered a way to exclude zero qty lines on count reports? This is causing me an issue as well. Thanks,Matt
Great, thank you. I have found the “Cleanup of Inventory” task that I believe you were referencing and it worked great. In a related question, I am trying to create a count report for 4 part numbers at a time and have the scheduled count report choose 4 new part numbers every week. I am currently creating the count reports based upon the four highlighted sections below. My only issue with doing it this way is that it is not capturing all inventory locations for each part number that it pulls. I realize this is because a “record” consists of a part and location combination. Is there a way to set up the count report schedule so it pulls all records associated with 4 differing part numbers each time it is scheduled to run? Thanks,Matt
