That’s great news @InnChathI thanks for letting me know.
Hi @InnChathI please reach out to the Guide Me teams as detailed in the post here and they will be able to support you on this issue.
Thanks @jporter could you private message me with the customer and if known the users who could not access these forms please and I will investigate further. I’m assuming they ahve access now?
Hi @jporter I had followed up with @Nikita38 via private message as there were some specific account related elements to validate. @Nikita38 I’ve not heard back from you so do let me know if you still need help or in fact the issue has been resolved.@jporter are you able to share a little more about the problems you ahve observed, we’re not aware of any generic problems of this nature and most likely account/user specific so I may need some additional information from you to investigate - feel free to private message me if appropriate. If we can find anything that would be useful for others to be aware beyond the guidance and links shared above we’ll be sure to post it here
HI @rfedorchuk just checking in to see how things are going were you able to make progress?
Hi @rfedorchuk .A couple of things here.1. It looks like you have not yet configured the mode of implementation see step 5 of the getting started guide hereThis step is also covered in more detail in the documentation here 2. In order to do that you or another user will need to be assigned the Technician role using the IFS Cloud Build Place User Management form in the Service Center. See the section on Grant or Revoke access to Build Place here
Hi @rfedorchuk no that shouldn’t be necessary. You should be able to find the URLs to access your Use Place environments in your IFS Cloud Welcome e-mail. (Let me know if you need this to be resent)If you haven't yet set up users in any of these environments then you will first need to login with the Initial Admin password, there are details on how to retrieve these from the Support Portal/Service Center also included in the welcome e-mail.The guide here may also be useful to you refer to specifically steps 1&3.Once you are logged into one of your Use Place environments as IFSAdmin you can then start setting up User Accounts as per the earlier guidance. If you are unfamiliar with navigating the IFS Cloud Aurena Client then the guide here may be helpfiul to get you started once you are in.I hope this helps but please let us know how you get on.
Hi @rfedorchuk ,Welcome to the IFS Community good to have you here.I wanted to clarify so we are not talking at crossed-purposes.There are 3 primary user Accounts in the context of IFS Cloud so I want to ensure we are talking about the right set of users.Use Place User Accounts - These are the users who will actually work in your IFS Cloud solution. Your IFS system Administrator is able to create these and you are not dependant on IFS here. Details on setting up these users are covered in docs.ifs.com hereBuild Place User Accounts - (I suspect this is what you mean?) These are users that are involved in developing and tailoring your solution, testing any changes you make to the solution or deploying those changes from the Build Place to the Use Place. Once the user accounts are created you are able to assign roles to these users dependant on the tasks they need to perform. These details are covered here please see the section titled “Grant Access to Build Place” note that this activit
Hi @Nikita38 is your target use place a Cloud Service environment i.e. hosted by IFS? Note that if you have a ‘Remote’ Use place you likely will not see those request forms as there is a different delivery process for remote environments documented here:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/047_lifecycle/040_build_place_deliveries/101_ordering-deliveries/#residency-option-2-remote
HiYou can find documentation for how to perform the Air-gapped installation here:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/070_remote_deploy/010_installing_fresh_system/030_preparing_server/50_windows_managementserver/#airgap-installation-documentationThere is also training content covering this as part of the IFS Cloud Technician training on the IFS Academy
