Hi Rasika! Thanks for a detailed response. This does goes on to auto-add group but, ADM user is able to view all of the leads; even by other ADM 1 user. Consider these groups as separate business entities and secrecy of data is the prime objective.
Sorry. My bad. Let’s start with the standard/ default layout: For end-users this has been customized to something like this: Now, a lobby element has been created that lists all work orders with Drill Down functionality to zoom into a specific work order. When end-user clicks on some record from Lobby element, it opens up that work order but, the work order is opened using default/ standard layout as shown in first image rather than opening in customized layout. So the end-user is left with a layout that he doesn’t need. This only happens upon drill-down from lobby. If user directly opens ‘Prepare Work Order’ window, the customized layout is displayed.
I’ve tried that. But, doesn’t work in my case.
The user has the option to do both. But, coming from PR would be a repetitive step (considering their business process). And they have to do it regularly. However, does PR have the option to add multiple parts at PR level? (I couldn’t find any). I wonder why isn’t there multi-select option available like there is when adding “contacts to actions” in marketing campaign. I’ve tried the “Simple Excel Migration Tool” but, it only works for simple single view windows and as the no. of views increase, the complexity increases for end-user (usually ending up doing nothing). The idea of migration job is also seemingly impossible due to end-user’s lack of technical knowledge.
Hi! There are multiple scenarios. You can try the following: Set “invoice customer” to the id you want in Misc Order Info tab in Customer Order window. If you only want the other customer’s name as reference on invoice (keeping the id same), you can change that against Document Address. Specify the name you want on invoice against ‘Customer Name’ field in Document Address.
Thanks! I was able to create “Credit Invoice” from Invoice Preview window that comes after “Report In” of work order. This creates a new order with negative lines, which when “Invoiced/Closed” negates the original invoice. But, doing this I’m unable to find the reference at “Customer Invoice” level - which is required for reporting purposes (I’ve to exclude the Service Orders that nullify each other.) Is there any option where I could find the link?
