Do you know if anyone has raised this issue with IFS? And, do you konw if this issue persist in IFS Cloud?
Sorry but no. In which version and update are you working?
I will do the same. Thank you very much.
Unfortunately…. no. We still have the issue. It’s a pity but neither I nor anybody else find the solution. Besides, IFS 9 does not have support so,… the probability is minus zero.
The problem is that all the parts we checked belonged to the indicated Part Cost Group. So we continue with the problem.
These parts had a Part Cost Group and we use that group as a filter in the pop-up to copy to Cost Set 1. That group does not have a templates as it is use just to group and use it as a filter.I think that that is not the problem.
Hi.They don’t have Not Consumed subassemblies in the Structures. We get correct results if we copy manually independently of the value of the Part Cost Group. In fact, we copied to Cost Set 1 all the no copied parts and the result was correct. But my customer is afraid because if they make a mass copy they do not know if all the parts were copied.Do you sound familiar this kind of issue in IFS 9? Maybe a bug?
Option 2. Thank you very much!
My customer wants to anticipate, as the lead times are not well defined. So..., meanwhile… Thank you very much.
Hi.The parameters are (IFS 9):Control window... And Part Cost Group (the customer uses the Part Cost Group functionality just to group inventory parts)
They want to have all the CO valued and connected to a Project and invoice via Invoicing Plan. The COL can be services or inventory parts.
For the moment, I will talk with my customer to untick the checkbox “Copy Work Center and Labor Class Costs” and at the same time I will try to raise a case at IFS Support.Thank you.
WC without Cost Set 12. I copy the cost set 12 to Cost set 1 for the inventory part 79-TEST1. IFS has removed the Cost Set 1 in the WC
According with the definition of the “Has Transferred Postings” field it seems that the SO is created from a CO, but in this case is not. The SO is created and released manually. But my doubt is that if the “WIP Build Up” field is greater than zero the “Has Transferred Postings” field is checked and if not, it is not. Why?
Hi.And what happen if I don’t have calculate the Cost Set 1 for an inventory part and manufacture that part?My problem is that, right now, I have inventory parts without Cost Set 1 But, if I release a Shop Order… Another thing I see is that the fiel “WIP Build Up” in Labor and Operation History window when this field is greater than 0 I have an error and if it is 0 I have no errors. What’s the meaning of that field?Thank you for your time.
Not really. That’s what I think, but I have no way of proving it. That’s why it was important to me to know exactly how the actual cost works in a shop order, because, in which moment the system fetch the cost template for the part you are manufacturing? When you create de SO? When you release it? I mean the cost template you can see in Actual Cost tab in Shop Order Cost window.
Hi.Thank you for your answer.I do not have any part specific overheads for the Cost Set 1, just for the Cost Set 12 and it never was copied into Cost Set 1.Cost Set 12: Cost Set 1:
