Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. Just to clarify I am referring to approvals from the management hierarchy within the contact user’s own department. Our preference is for users to have visibility of these approvers so they can follow up pending approvals directly.I think I have enough to go from here to try and set something up. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.
This is a great initiative and I would be interested to see what other customers are doing in this space. We are a SaaS customer and are just starting to develop reports and dashboards in Power BI using the assystREST API and our data warehouse.Note that IFS had ‘integrated Power BI’ in their roadmap at some point but it seems to have disappeared.
I have a similar issue checking out Orders although I can’t confirm the error message is the same due to the language difference. Note below information from the Wiki advising of potential issues checking out Orders due to inconsistent use of mandatory fields: https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst11-5Wiki/index.php/Order_and_Cart_Set-UpDuring checkout assyst copies the data from the Service Catalog's Order Forms to Service Request Forms, therefore it is critical to ensure that if a Service Request Form requires Mandatory data in any of its fields, that the corresponding field(s) in the related Service Catalog's Order Form are also Mandatory. If not, then there is a high chance the checkout will error when required data is not found when processing the Order.
