Have you checked that the size of the file attachment is smaller than the application parameter? That sometimes gives the appearance of an intermittent issue.
If you create an event on the task and then you could write an event based notification on the task that would deliver the pdf report (or after FSM 6 Update 2 excel or word) to whoever you create your notification rule to. You do not want to go down this path, keeping completed tasks will cause significant performance delays in your schedule board; causing end-user complaints on the time the schedule board takes to paint and return data. What are you trying to accomplish? Let’s find a better solution.
Why do you want to see completed tasks on the schedule board, are you trying to determine work completed per day (lobby tile on service manager), provide manager a list of work done to review part usage and non part usage (My Team Tracker / drill down to accept reject line codes); what is the end goal of showing completed tasks on the schedule board?
Steve, repull down update 8; R&D made a change on the Saturday afternoon it was released that addressed this. If you get the latest this issue should resolve.
This is marked as an obsolete product in the later versions of the GPL 2.5B. What is the replacement product for this functionality in 2021R2 and 2022R1?
