Quick Report- format column heaidng with ALL CAPS

I’d like to format a column heading with all caps as it is an acronym COGS, but haven’t figured out how to do it; it seems IFS always translates it to camel case. The closest I got was with a space between each char, but I’d like it to be w/o spaces.

Lobby: Drill-Down Summary Element to Detail

We have a Lobby Element that summarizes orders by status for 4 date periods. Now we want drill-down capabilities so when they click on any of the Status rows they see the detail behind it- Order#, Status, Date, Quantity, Price. I couldn’t find any documentation on this- does some exist? I didn’t see an Element that has this; Link looks like it just drills down into a screen, not a report. Would it/could it drill down into the Customer Order screen with parms to restrict results?

Consolidate Project / Unique Procurement Project & Non-project purchase of same component

Just looking for any “left of centre” ideas or suggestions, please… We have demand for the same purchased part (same site) from Projects Projects with purchase req authorisation Customer Orders Shop Orders Material reqs We run PMRP and MRP which generates the necessary reqs but we’re unable to consolidate the supply onto a single Purchase Order. You can mix Projects and non-project demand onto a single PO but once the req is a project one that needs purchase authorisation you can’t mix with any other POs… Any ideas gratefully received.. Thanks

Hi can anyone tell me , for real time sync it is necessary to initialize the device because before i initialize the data is not reflected in mobile but after the internalization i get the value. i have taken the person table. person table is a real time syn , where any changes in the person will /should update automatically . but i am not getting the changes real time.

Pmrp process cancelled due to critical error. Please see error log. ORA-20105: PmrpProcess.PMRPSTOPERROR

We are using IFS APP9. We are recently getting the above errors when a job for Perform Project MRP per Activity. The procedure used is ‘Pmrp_Process_API.Schedule_Mrp_Process_Act__’. I cannot find any information in the database’s alertlog. Could somebody shed some light on this? Thank you.

Disable receive into inventory in SFWB

Hello, I am attempting to globally disable the Receive into Inventory checkbox on the last operation step in Shop Floor Workbench. I have looked through site settings and Basic Data, but I cannot find a location where this can be controlled. Is it possible to turn this off? Thank you.

Posting control for Pur req

Please take a look at postion control screen and Pur Req below. I expect that cost center value is mandtory on pur req screen. Control type C58 may require cost center value with Mandatory. As Pur Req registered, pre posting sub screen is pop-uped when saving. However, saving transaction without cost cent value could be allowed. After saving, pre posting pop up screen no longer is shownd again. Mandatory rule doesn’t work when Pur req resister process. Is any setup insufficient?

APPS10 - Enable debug console for custom permission set

Hi, Does anyone know how to grant the debug console to a custom profile? I have created a low-level permission set and certain RMB function’s don’t appear so need to look in the debug console to see what is restricted but when I login using the permission set against my user I don’t have the option to start the debug console. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave

Handling Damaged Stocks

We have created dummy location called “Damaged” in one site and moved some damaged stock to that location and user doesn’t want to show that quantity as available stock in customer order. Can you advice how to achieve this ?

Add or modify a button function on Shop Floor Workbench

Is it possible to modify what the buttons do on Shop Floor Workbench? Or Add buttons? For example, we would like to change what the Report Tool button does. Instead of opening a Report, we’d like it to open the Create Fault Report Window. If that is not possible, could we add a custom button and name it Create Fault Report and have it link to the Create Fault Report window?

Master parts have manufacturers. A number of them have been combined in the real world (either consolidated or bought or whatever). What would your idea be how to generate a new manufacturer and move the ‘old’ manufacturer parts under the new one? Steve

Template cannot be found

Hi - this community has been so helpful! Here’s one more question: IFS Report Generator question. A report is ordered and selected and then the various fields are populated according to needs. As you can see in screen shot below - a template has been selected from dropdown/LOV. I want to change this selected template to public from private. Where do I find this template? I’ve checking all the template views, reporting templates, etc. I even used TOAD to view the IFS views and tables - no luck! Compounding this - the owner of this template is no longer with company. I did activate the user profile as well. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks!

Shop Order Proposed location

We recently migrated from Apps 9 update 8 to Apps 9 Update 16. We have since been experiencing a problem with how our Shop Orders select a “Proposed Location” when entering the shop order. In order to troubleshoot this issue, does anyone know how the proposed location is supposed to be populated upon shop order creation? The IFS basic help does not address this functionality very well. Can anyone please tell me how i can call one screen from another screen.Means i want to call request screen from person screen with some triggering point on the request screen.I am trying to achieve this by writing input XML business rule but its not working. Any IFS customers using WSO2 for integration?

Hi, We’re currently evaluating WSO2 as a potential new integration platform. I’d like to know if anybody has experience with WSO2 in relation to IFS; in particular IFS Apps 10. Negative On Hand Inventory Parts

We are notice that when looking in Inventory Part Availability Planning that if we have a purchase order coming in the same day we go negative with demand there is no place that we see it showing up easily. I was hoping to find it in the Inventory Part Availability Exceptions but since the projected amount no longer shows negative it does not show up under the MRP message of Negative On Hand. When using MRP Workbench and the MRP Message of Late Order it does show when there is a PO coming in and has dropped below the safety stock level and when we go negative on the same day a PO is coming in. Not necessarily and easy screen to look at when you are having to look at each part and then decipher if it is just late or if we have gone negative. I have yet to come across a different MRP Message or screen that we can easily see when we go negative on a part the same day it is being delivered. We are currently in IFS 9.

Oracle Index issues

My SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer is reporting some specific indexing issues. This one caused 41m 25s of wait time in 63 different queries I wonder if anyone has had any success tweaking indexes in IFS? Index: MATERIAL_HISTORY_IX2 (in IFSAPP)
