Hi, F1 help not working on user machine, We are using APP9 and F1 help is working properly but some of IFS users are unable to open F1 Help(windows 10). I have configured the HOST file Remove all the cookies but still unable to access.

Link from Mail recipient as Link does not work as expected -Apps9

Hi, IFS APPS9 - The 'Mail recipient as Link' appears not to be working correctly. It works as expected for Internet explorer but not for other browsers like Chrome. For other browsers application does not get opened with the correct window and data, but always user’s home page. For internet explorer IFS application gets started with the correct application window. e.g. Correct Transport Task. Users claim it used to work correctly for other browsers as well. Has anyone experienced the same? Thank you Upekha

Lot of items in local backup folder

Hello, On the C-drive of all of our employees a lot of backup files get created. Sometimes a few times a day. This causes a lot of problems because sometimes there are some many backup files that the C-drive is completely full. The location of the local backup is: C:\app\product\11.2.0\client_1\inventory\backup\ Does anyone else recognize this problem? Please help. Best regards, Bram Marissink

Is it possible to use http instead of https in IFS app10?

We are upgrading to IFS app10. So far we have to install the SSL certificate on every user’s computer. It’s kind of hassle. Our network admin doesn’t like it. Is it http still available? Thanks for any inputs.

Output Channel download speed

I’m wondering if anyone has a technical explanation of the factors that can affect the output speed when using an output channel from an overview screen? We (me or users) can see a wide variation in the output speed based on time of day, system load, user connection speed, user terminal load, etc. All of which typically make sense and are mostly correlative. However, very often I notice that the same output one time will run at hundreds or even dozens of rows per second, while at other times seem to progress at thousands of rows per second. Sometimes the output is steady and continues until done with no pauses, other times, the output seems to hold for pauses of minutes to dozens of minutes.I’m aware that creating Quick Reports to reduce the relative number of columns has a significant effect on reducing speed, but for all users, I should be able to give them some expectation of the threshold or limitation with number of rows that are too many.I’ve been doing tests with anywhere fr

What is the purpose of default domain checkbox on all master screens like supplier,customer etc.? This checkbox is present on almost all master screens like supplier, supplier address, customer, customer address etc. This checkbox has default value as True and there is no F1 information of purpose of this checkbox. can anyone give me information of usage of this checkbox in IFS V10?

Order Processing Type

Order processing type is not working in Apps 10.The batch queue is enabled and running, but when a requisition is created on a part where the PO should automatically be created, the requisition sits at planned. In IFS 8 the requisition is automatically released and the purchase order created.

performb_backup.cmd missing in IFS8

Hi All, In IFS8 document, it is mentioned that “performb_backup.cmd” file is in <IFS_HOME>/instance/<INSTANCE>/bin for middleware backup, but it is not present in any environment we have. H On IFS Partner portal we got following information regarding IFS Applications 9 support end time and restritrions.https://partner.ifs.com/whats-new/important-bulletins/On article "IFS Applications 9 Support Ends March 27, 2020" is sentence:"...IFS partners are not permitted to merge/deliver any patch or update to an IFS Applications 9 Restricted Support customer where the issue was first reported after 27th March 2020 or the update was released after this date"I have got many example that isssue is reported before 27.03 and patch was released after 27.03. In that case regarding above sentence I can not apply patch. Am I right?It is a bit strange becase we have still opened case for IFS Applications and waiting for patches.Piotr

How to speed up opening attachments?

HelloIs there any possibility to shorten the time of opening attachments?The main need is to quickly open invoice PDF from Tax Transactions, so we did connections to TaxLedgerItem LU and they are visible as attachments. Next step would be to put some custom menu or at least to avoid clicking OK in "Select document type to view" dialog every time we want to open attachment.Any idea how to achieve our goal?/Wiktor

Do you know if both the Supplier Company and the Customer Company need to cost account the hours for an employee before any transfer is done between the companies? If the supplier company cost accounts but the customer company does not, what happens? And vice versa?

Documents in Oracle Database

We have our IFS on their managed cloud services and store our documents in the oracle database. Obviously we have now already about 880 GB of document data in our database (tablespace IFSAPP_LOB) which means that the backup (and restore!) take very long. We assume that there are a lot of obsolete documents and unoptimizied documents regarding their size. How can we analyze these documents regarding age and size?

Custom Materialized Views not refreshing post UPD7 install

Hello, I installed Apps 10 UPD7 update recently for a client and everything went well barring one issue. We noticed none of the custom Materialized Views are updating automatically post update in spite of Next Refresh parameter reflecting future date and time. Manually refreshing the MVs works fine, so no issue with the code or objects. Has anyone encountered this behaviour before? TIA

Backflushing from multiple fixed locations

We have raw material stored in bins that feeds several machines. We want to be able to backflush from the correct bin for that group of machines. Lot tracing is important. So raw material A lot number 1will be placed in location 1 and feed machines A,B, C. Raw material A lot number 2 will be placed in location 2 and feed machines D,EF. External Customer Invoice Error in IFS10 UPD7

Hi Team, While creating Invoice through external customer invoice assistant with IFS Standard File template in UPD7 Test2 the Invoice is not getting created and end up into error "Net Amount does not match Net Amount in Accounting Currency for Item No XX". The same file is getting uploaded correctly in UPD3. We are only entering Net Currency Amt in invoice line and Currency Amt in posting line along with other mandatory data with the same data in UPD3 invoice is getting created without any error but in UPD7 it is giving error. In both the environment external customer invoice parameter setup is same. basically in UPD7 system is asking to enter both Net Currency Amt and Net Dom Amt in Invoice line and In posting Line Currency Amt and Dom amount.
