In many scenarios we have, we want to approve or release the document. Can this be done using the integration projection in regards of CreateDocument?
Background: Create new documents works fine using CreateAndImportDocument.svc/CreateDocument, but we often want to create a new revision (in order to keep history intact).Challenge: When we are invoking CreateAndImportDocument.svc/CreateDocument and supplying a new revision parameter, it doesn’t seem to accept the new revision number, e.g. payload looks as following:{ "DocClass": "ADDO_TEST", "DocNo": "1365783", "DocSheet": "1", "DocRev": "A2", "Title": "some test of ny revision", "CreateFileRef": "YES"}Even though the new revision does not exist, IFS Cloud throws: "error": { "code": "DB_OBJECT_EXIST", "message": "Resource already in use.", "details": [ { "code": 20112, "message": "ORA-20112: DocTitle.DOCTITLEDOCNOEXIST: The document number 1365783 already exists." } ] } How can we go about creating new revisions in terms of integration? Any pointers is most welcome.
Ok, I’ve looked around everywhere, but cannot see that it is possible to set FormatSize? Has this been left out or is it coming in some service release/update?
I’ve added event_sys.event_execute as a custom action via projection configuration. The action takes 3 parameters win which 2 of them are fine. The last parameter is of type message_sys in PLSQL, which creates a message with carriage return. But it seems like when mapping in page designer - it doesn’t allow to paste carriage return.question is, how can we go about this?we are simply trying to invoke an event that has an action with online SQL that puts an application message in the queue and sends it out using the traditional way.
When using CreateAndImportDocument.svc we invoke the CreateAndImportDocument.svc/GetDocumentUrl which returns a URL in the form of: https://<cloud-environment>:<port>/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CreateAndImportDocument.svc/EdmFileSet(DocClass='<class>',DocNo='<no>',DocSheet='1',DocRev='A1',DocType='ORIGINAL',FileNo=1)/FileDataNow, uploading original works fine - but what about uploading the view copy? I’ve tried changing doctype to VIEW in URL (and yes, EDM basic has been setup to PDF = VIEW) etc but I’m kinda stuck. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very happy (extra ping goes to @Mathias Dahl :) )This is IFS Cloud21R2 atm I am testing against.
Ok, long story short - when invoking projections e.g. POST against https://<SERVER>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerHandling.svc/CustomerInfoSet we are able to set header: Accept-Language = sv-SE but error messages are kinda mixed: { "error": { "code": "ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR", "message": "Ett internt serverfel inträffade. Kontakta administratören.", "details": [ { "code": "INVALID_VALUE_FOR_PROPERTY", "message": "Invalid value for property 'DefaultLanguage'." } ] }}Is it possible to have the validation also in what ever language we prefer? The ORA-messages are translated though, but it would be nice if the validation values also could be translated.
So, long story short - I am trying to upload a document using Postman and I am literally stuck on the last step:[ ] Running a patch request against https://SOMURL:SOMEPORT/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CreateAndImportDocument.svc/EdmFileSet(DocClass='100',DocNo='1008475',DocSheet='1',DocRev='A1',DocType='ORIGINAL',FileNo=1)/FileData [ ] Set headers X-IFS-ContentDisposition with the filename=Ym9wcC5kb2N4[ ] Set If-Match to a *[ ] Set Content-Type to application/octet-stream[ ] Body is binary with the file[ ] I am using a pure integration user and not IFSAPP, all rights checked[ ] Using IFS Applications 10 update 11 regardless of what I do I get: { "error": { "code": "ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR", "message": "An internal server error occurred. Contact administrator." }} Can someone please point me in the right direction?
In order to know what view we need to fetch information from in the past (IFS Appl 10 and backwards) we could always query the good old “Object connections” that has:Now, since we only are allowed to fetch data from projections (starting with Cloud21R1 and upwards) - how do we know what projection to invoke depending on what object(s) a document is connected to?
Hey all, is there any known best practice in how one should check in / out documents via projections in regards of integrations and automation?E.g. scenario might be:1. Read file using Power Automate or Logic Apps2. Run some logic against IFS e.g. verify that a work order exist or similar.3. Create new document or new revision (with a potential view copy).4. Stream the document into IFS Applications (NOT using the AccessProvider but via projections or similar e.g. Aurena agent).5. Run some additional logic.Preferably with rollback if possible e.g. if step 5 fails, we need to rollback the entire thing.Any help, input, examples would be much appreciated.
Currently, when adding a new button (within command groups in the page designer) it seems that the ExternalNavigationLink is being restricted to prefix with either http:// or https:// - is there any way of calling a custom scheme / protocol (class) registered on the PC? I have a local class that has been associated with a software in where I want to invoke it from Aurena. Is this even possible?
