I wonder if anyone can help, I have raised a po req for a number of inventory parts, this Req has then been flipped to an order. I had a descrepency with supply and demand on my part availability screen and eventually traced it back to the Demand Code on my Req line. For some reason the demand code has automatically come through as Non Inventory and i cannot find the route cause. what is more worrying is that i cannot replicate the problem when i recreate the req (comes through as Invent Order)Iv searched on the overview screan and there about 30 PO Req lines (converted to PO) in a DB of 60k inventory parts. Can anyone point me in the right direction here ?TIA
Hi,Im just working my way through some action messages, we have just started using MRP and im quite happy with the majority of the messages and investigating the problem but iv encountered an issue with the ‘ Not Buildable’ message, this is clearly not working as my bom is buildable and the phase in date is 3 years prior so it not date related.the IFS official definition is ...”The manufacturing structure is not buildable or planable. No shop order requisition was generated.”……This last sentence worries me a little as it seems a little random.Am i missing something obvious or is this a bug ?Thanks in advanceAndy
Hi community,We receipt bar stock in multiple lengths (1m, 3m & 6m) but the inventory quantity will be the sum total, If a 2.5m lengthis required this leads IFS to assume we have sufficient stock but the 2.m consists of multiple short lengthsIs there a way to capture the qty in stock by individual length ?
