Hi Community, If we need to control access for users who try to get data via BI access views created using QIS in the IFS cloud 21R2, Is there any mechanism to handle it? Best regards,Thiwanka
Hi, When creating a BR report the developer has used quick information source which containing the "DIM_ACCOUNT" and “DIM_COMPANY” standard dimensions. Inside the report design, there is a parameter for the account. Since the company is the parent of the account, They have used a company parameter as well.when the user orders that report from IEE, There is no LoV option for the account parameter. When ordering it through the business reporter excel add-on, once click the LoV option of the account parameter it will pop up the company LoV as a prerequisite. (Please note that there is a separate parameter for the company and the user should select the values for the company before selecting the account parameter)This company and account parameter LoVs properly working for some BR reports. Therefore I have compared the dimension joins of both information sources and there is no considerable changes. If you have any suggestions or information regarding this matter please let me know. Hi,I have an unclear area on the General Ledger cube in APPS9. When we have an opening balance for any year it will insert under the 0th accounting period key. And If we want to take the value for the opening balance from the “Dm_FACT_GL_BALANCE” table we will have to use the 'BALANCE_OB' field instead of the 'BALANCE' field.Assume we have an opening balance for a company in 2019, My question is when I need to get the GL balance for the 2019 year what is the measure I need to be used? It seems the balance measure gives the wrong value. If you have any information regarding this matter please let me know. Best Regards,Thiwanka Sandaruwan
Hi All,To increase the performance of the published BR report, we can enable optimizer features for the SQL statement by using the BR report level execution parameter window’s hint field. I have tested the performance of a BR report that is available in a production environment. It seems the report will execute quickly after enabling optimizer features. Without that, it took more time. By using the database, I have compiled the SQL statements with and without query optimizer statements. In there also the statement which hasn't optimizer hint was consumed more time to run. A screen shot from non-production environment When I trying to order the same report from a non-production environment, it takes more time. But the same optimizer feature statement is there. I suspect that the existing oracle release number of the optimizer feature statement(10.2.0.5) is not compatible with the non-production environment. Here also I have checked the SQL statement by using the database. But it was ver
