In IFS help, there are system events of COMPMDIFF-, COMPMDIFF+, COMPM-IN, COMPM-OUT and COMPM-TRIN. It is mentioned that these would be triggered by intercompany transfers via posting controls of M1, M88,M89 and M90.I can see that IFS help has clear descriptions about intersite transactions within same company. But there are no scenarios of what are the transactions would cause these intercompany events and how does affect the posting controls. Anyone have idea about these events and posting controls.
Hi There, One of the user has mistakenly deleted the Cost bucket 110 in an important environment. When I am trying to add manually I am getting an error ‘’Ids in the range of 0-999 for cost elements and Cost Buckets are reserved for future use’’. Cost Bucket 110 is system defined one. Why does the system allows to delete the record and not allow to add back in the system? Is there any way to add the Cost bucket 110 in the system?
There is a subsidiary company in USA and another subsidiary company in Australia under the one group of companies. USA company manufactured a raw material at the cost of 75USD and sells at 100USD to Australian company. Currently in IFS, selling company in USA inventory is valued at 75USD where as buying company’s inventory in Australia is valued at 100USD.But Australian company wants to value the received inventory at 75 USD and not to value at 100USD because the received inventory should be valued at cost for the group and they do not want to include 25USD markup in inventory which increases cost of sales when Australian company selling finished goods to their customers. Is there anyway to handle this scenario with this current setup as shown below?
It is observed that Voucher Type LOV is available for few Invoice series IDs. For an example , F voucher types are commonly available for particular invoice series CD,SC and SD.Why is Voucher Type LOV not appearing for default invoice series likes SI and other manually created invoice series IDs?Are there any logic behind that?
