Hello. I’m developing a Crystal Report for the Change Request Aurnea page, and wanted to be able to pass a parameter from the Change Request to be used in the Crystal Report. Is this possible? I have a parameter set up in the Crystal report itself for the Request number, but the user has to enter this number in manually. I was hoping to be able to pass the Request number automatically using the parameter mapping, but was unable to do that so far. Is there some sort of special syntax the Crystal report parameter needs to be in order to use it this way? I’m using a custom ExecuteQuickReport action so that when a user is on a given Change Request Form record, they can generate a Crystal Report for that specific record.I’m using IFS 10 UPD 10. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks Parameter Mapping for the ExecuteQuickReport Custom Action in page designer. Manually entering in the Crystal report parameter.
I have a question regarding IFS’ built in status’ and if there was a way to reverse the status (state) workflow. For example, the Change Request page has 4 built in states, ‘Preliminary’, ‘Active’, ‘Processed’, and ‘Cancelled’. We are trying to find a way to reverse a Change Request’s status from Processed to Active, or Active to Preliminary. Is there an out-of-the-box way to accomplish this?Is there a way to reverse the status using API calls with a Custom Action?I did attempt to modify the state of the Change Request using the ECO_REQUEST_API.Modify__ (info_, objid_, objversion_, attr_, action_); API call, but was unable to succefully change the state this way.We are using IFS10 UPD10. Any help or better understanding of this would be much appreciated. Thanks! Change Request page status (states)
On an Aurnea Custom page, I’m having an issue getting the selected reference field to display after it’s selected, saved and the browser is refreshed. This field is in a group, and after the user selects the desired entry from the lookup, it should display the entry as a link to another IFS page. However once I refresh the page, the link/displayed text disappears, but I can still click the blank field and it takes me to the other IFS page. I’m not sure why the field goes blank. Is there a way to get the text to remain on this field?lookup fieldAfter save Blank after browser is reloaded
I’m facing an issue when trying to add a new custom action to a projection. The dropdown menu for PL/SQL Methods is empty, and says ‘No Data’. This dropdown should contain all the packages and methods available In the IFS database. Without the ability to select a PL/SQL method, we cannot add any Custom Actions at all. This is happening for standard as well as custom projections. Is this a known issue? I’m using IFS Version 10, Update 10.CUSTOM ACTION SCREENNO DATA IN THE PL/SQL METHOD SEARCH WINDOW
I’m looking into creating permission sets for Aurnea Users, but am unsure of what has to be done in IFS Enterprise Explorer, or what has to be done through Aurnea only, and if there is any overlap in functionality. I’m looking for a general understating of what is Aurena specific, IFS EE specific, and what actions in regards to permission sets apply to both client types. I have outlined some of my questions below: Is the permission setting of Projections and pages for Aurnea done strictly in Aurnea, or is there some aspect of it that needs to be done in IFS EE. Can I setup permission sets for Aurnea only users without using IFS EE? If not what has to be done in IFS EE?If I allow a user Full access to an Aurnea Projection/page (through a permission set) does it permit the same access to the Enterprise Explorer page? (ex: Change Orders in Aurnea, and in EE).Is there some way to grant universal CRUD access for users to both Aurnea and EE at the database level? ex. Allowing a user to delet
Hello.I have created a new permission set and am modifying the ‘Entity Action Grants’ through the Projection Grants window for the ChangeRequestHandling Projection I have added to my permission set. (See image below). I am trying to restrict certain CRUD functionality for a specific entity (EcoRequest). I want to allow Update, but disallow Create and Delete functionality. Is there a way to currently do this in Aurena, or even in Enterprise Explorer? All I seem to be able to do is grant the full CRUD available. I’m using IFS version 10 Update 10. Any help with this would be appreciated.
When trying to update a record using the API for any Custom LU (_CLT table in IFS), we get this error. ERROR: MODIFIED2: The ‘LU Name’ object has been modified by another user. Please refresh the object and reenter your changes. The error is saying that a record can't be updated because it is already being updated, which is not the case. This happens regardless of which table the triggering action is coming from. The update method that is called using the API is 'PackageName'_CLP.Modify__( ). This modify method is auto generated when the Custom LU is made. We have verified that the New__ API call for inserting a record does work correctly for Custom LU tables, but the Modify__ or Remove__ API calls do not.To be clear, we are able to call the API methods to Update, Insert, and Delete records from IFS standard tables, (tables ending in _TAB), as well as custom field tables, (tables ending in _CFT) but we are having this issue with the tables made from Custom Logical Units, (tables ending
I’m having an issue in Aurena when trying to modify a custom projection that I recently made. Aurena doesn’t seem to have the ability to add key mappings for entity associations when modifying an existing Projection in Aurena. You can add additional entities, and entity associations, but cannot specify the key mapping for that association. This means I cannot link child LUs to a parent LU for a custom page in the projection after it's made. Is there a current solution or workaround that addresses this? Is this a known issue? I’m using IFS version 10 update 9.
