Trying to create a QIS Draft that utilizes the “_CFV” version of the table so that the Custom Fields are available. However, due to the fact that a “CF$_” is prepended to the field name and the Created View Definition is not editable to change an alias, the field comes into the Information Source with the CF$_ prefix, which I thought was fine. And the field is visible in the BR, but if you try to put a filter on the field, it errors out, indicating that QFACT_XYZ_CFV.CF is not a dimension or fact. It appears that the $ in the db field name is being evaluated as a parameter and making BR blow up. Other than writing an IAL where I can alias the field correctly, does anyone know how to get around this issue?
We have a situation where a small group of people share a single login to Apps 10. (They are using the app mainly for entering purchase requisitions and all work for the same department). What happens is that sometimes the second user to log in will receive a notification that someone else is using the system under that login (I personally have seen this notification in the past during implementation when using the appowner account), but there are other times where it will not alert them at all and just log the other individual out of the system, with lost work occasionally. My joking solution was for them to get familiar with Crtl+S or F12, but was wondering if anyone knew where this notification functionality exists (if at all)?
I am attempting to create a database task that will close old customer order lines on a weekly basis assuming certain criteria are met (which I have in a SQL statement). However, when I go to set up the New Database Task and choose “Select Method” and then choose the API, I get the following pop-up. “Method [CLOSE_CUSTOMER_ORDER_API.CLOSE_ORDER_LINE__] is a function or has parameters that are not supported. Only IN parameters are supported.” Am I missing something? Or is this not possible?
