Hi Guys, I having a trouble with reconciling Received Not Invoiced Report to GL. Does any of you know exactly which Posting Types should be considered when matching Received Not Invoiced Report. With some investigation I understand that M10, M14 and M18 should be considered. There are other types of postings like M189 and M196 posted to similar account. But I do not see these amounts related to Arrival charges in Received Not Invoiced Report. Thanks
Hi Guys, I am facing an issue in Apps 10 where an Fixed Asset created through a Project cannot be moved, sell or scrap..etc. It gives error saying the project is completed. The setup was as follows. GP3 Account for Project and Acquisition Account for Object is same Reposted to same account When Project was completed, the object was moved by removing the Project code part. In here reposting debit entry was created without Project Eg ACC01 - OBJ01 DR XXX ACC01 - PROJ01-OBJ01 CR XXX Is it wrong to use GP3 Account for Project and Acquisition Account for Object as same ? What is the way to get rid of this flowstopper? Cheers Lahiru
Hi What are the limitation in Apps 7.5 when compared to Apps 10 in handling MT940 bank statements in External Payments? I have just checked and saw that only a MT940 format to handle Customer Payments are available in Apps 7.5? Does it mean that it not possible to handle MT940 with all types of transactions - Mixed Payments (Payment Orders, Customer Payments etc)
Hi, What is the approach to be followed when migrating transactional data to IFS from a Legacy System?When migrating these data should those posted in IFS to create GL vouchers that will ultimately calculate the GL Balances as at Cut-Over date.Or just migrate GL Balances separately and transactional data without posting to GLFor example, the customer need to have last 3 years(2018-2020) Invoices in IFS when Implementing IFS. Can we migrate invoices just in PaidPosted state without posting them? What will be impact to Analysis windows?
Hi, When a new create a Asset from autocreation from PO for Company Owned Rental Asset, the Inventory Transaction History is created with zero cost and no postings. Therefore in the Supplier Invoice the Asset need to be manually posted to activate the object.Is this the standard behavior?Thanks
Hi All, We have situation where currency rate for VAT reporting should be fetched as follows.Domestic SalesIf Delivery Date < Invoice Date, the currency rate should be fetched based on Delivery Date - 1 If Delivery Date > Invoice Date, the currency rate should be fetched based on Invoice Date - 1 EU SalesAlways the currency rate should be fetched based on Invoice Date - 1 Can this be achieved with IFS10 standard functionality (or even with Global Extension PL)? And Norwegian Company need to report JPK in Poland.The issue is that the Tax Templates Field Control available for Poland is Country Specific and there those cannot be enable for another country (with standard solution)

Hi, We have situation where single CAMT file is loaded to External Payment as multiple records. Multiple Load IDs in External Payment are created for Single External File Transaction Load File ID. Do you know any specific reason for this? can this be related to Payment Dates? Thanks

Hi Community, Is there a way to Import Depreciation for an Existing Object/Asset with newly added Book. For example assume FA is already implemented and now we need to Add another Book for Tax Purpose. I have tried the FA import external file template. Hi IFS Community, I am trying learn on IFS Application functionality on Budgeting. I see that budget can be maintained in two ways :Budget Process & Budget Version. And also Budget Version can be updated from Budget Process. I am not clear about the practical usage of this. Does any of you has a good example how these are used real business What would be best practice to use these two options? And also can we handle forecasting from this functionality?

Hi All,Is there a logic in the application that is possible convert a voucher entry including a contra account?For example, Posting Type Account DR/CR Amount IP2 - Debtor 120.01 DR 100 M28 - Sales 600.01 CR 80 IP4 - Tax 391.01 CR 20 To presented as below. Value DR/CR Ledger Account Contra Account 80 DR 120.01 600.01 20 DR 120.01 391.01 I tried GL Voucher with Contra Account. But the issue is that since it present all voucher rows, the transactions become double booked in that way.Thanks
