Hi, We have a work schedule that is from 3:00PM to 2:00AM the next day and some employees take lunch around 12:00AM the next day. If they clock out for lunch at 12:00 AM and clock back in at 12:30AM it doesn’t register it as the part of the same work day. However, if they do not clock in/out for lunch and only clock out for lunch then it calculates correctly. Please see screenshots below:Day Type Flexible Break Rule: Time card without clocking out for lunch: Time card when they do clock out for lunch: Can someone please help as to why the results are not calculating correctly? Thanks in advance!Liz
Hi, I am looking for some help to setup project and work task time entries to calculate overtime separate from work time. For example, an employee gets overtime if they are to work beyond 40 hours in a given work week. If they are scheduled to work an 8 hour shift and lets say on Monday they work 10 hours, then the two hours of extra time is converted to regular time and overtime is not calculated until the employee reaches that 40 hour threshold. However, lets say both Mon and Tues the employee works two 10 hour days then takes vacation Wed-Fri, the employee should only get paid 20 hours of regular time and 24 hours of vacation pay. Though, I want the extra hours on Mon and Tues that were registered to a work task or a project to be considered overtime costs. Does anyone have any advice for how to best achieve this? Can it be done in Job Rate Management? Let me know. Thanks,Liz
Hi, I am trying to authorize manufacturing time for an employee that works on third shift (11:00 PM - 7:00AM) and I am getting the following error message. The employee worked on Friday from 11-7AM so their time card results appear on Friday however, their Mfg results appear on Saturday resulting in a positive difference. I have the parameter ‘Allowed positive diff between presence and manufacturing hours’ set to 16. Can someone please let me know how to resolve this issue as the mfg time will not transfer to the GL unless the mfg time is authorized. See screenshots:Friday’s interval:Saturday Mfg ClockingError Message when I try to authorize:Parameter Settings: How the day type is setup: Site settings:
Hi,Is it possible for the Employee Category in the Project Navigator→ Resources→ Resource Planning tab to automatically populate with the employee category defined on the employee record when adding a new resource? For example when a user creates a new line item and enters the Resource ID the employee category for the connected employee will automatically populate.
