We have a quick report that outputs different results when it is sent via a scheduled data base task compared to when it is run manually. These sums are done using simple “select sum() from table where X” and are listed in rows using union. As you can see in the table. Only sum 7 and sum 8 are inorrect when using the scheduled quick report. The others are correct. Any ideas why this might be happening? Manual output: sum1 1263584 sum2 8608567 sum3 4872151 sum4 55863 sum5 6525876 sum6 3413890 sum7 4532101 sum8 9021000 sum9 7553101 Scheduled Quick Report:sum1 1263584 sum2 8608567 sum3 4872151 sum4 55863 sum5 6525876 sum6 3413890 sum7 8428850,52 sum8 9021000 sum9 11449850,52
I am trying to use CTE’s in a quick report, but when I try to execute the query in IFS’ Query Tool it gives me the error “Input ‘my_query’ ” did not match regular expression. I tried with a basic CTE, that works in PL/SQL Developer: WITH my_cte AS(SELECT 3+4 as result FROM DUAL)SELECT result from my_cte I am not even trying to use a regular expression. Does anybody know why it does not work? Here is the detailed error log: Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Ifs.Application.Fndadm.SQLQueryTool.frmDynamicSelect.ContainsAnyLOBItems(IList`1 columns) at Ifs.Application.Fndadm.SQLQueryTool.frmDynamicSelect.Execute(SalString sSql) at Ifs.Application.Fndadm.SQLQueryTool.frmDynamicSelect.UserMethod(SalNumber nWhat, SalString sMethod) at Ifs.Application.Fndadm.SQLQueryTool.frmDynamicSelect.vrtUserMethod(SalNumber nWhat, SalString sMethod) at Ifs.Fnd.Ap
Hi!As I said in the title, I need to know which table contains a specific column. Would the following query work for that? What should I put in the from-clause? SELECT COLUMN_NAME AS 'ColumnName', TABLE_NAME AS 'TableName'FROM WHERE COLUMN_NAME LIKE '%storage_instructions%'ORDER BY TableName ,ColumnName;
I created a quick report in IFS App 9 and want to schedule it to be sent as a spreadsheet monthly.As per IFS documentation I set up an Application Server Task and a task schedule. But the task fails and I don’t know why. Here is how I set up the Server Task and schedule: And here is the error message from ISF: Failure while obtaining result: javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Error committing transaction: Caused by: commonj.work.WorkException: javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Error committing transaction: Caused by: javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: Error committing transaction: Caused by: weblogic.transaction.RollbackException: (fndbas_PROD9, default HeuristicHazard, (javax.transaction.xa.XAException: No connection associated with xid = BEA1-6E358F5AD6C969033096-666E646261735F50524F4439)) Does somebody have an idea why it does not work? Kind regardsDeniz
I wrote an SQL query using the SQL Query Tool in IFS App 9. But when I try to save the query as a Quick Report it states: SQL expression is wrong (SQL-Ausdruck ist falsch).The query runs fine in the IFS Query Tool and unfortunately the error message does not specify why the SQL expression is wrong. Does somebody know what is wrong with my query?
