Hi,I am trying to set the budget in demand planner in Cloud23r1 by executing the job set budget base The help text states that this should copy the adjusted forecast to budget, which is what I want“System EffectsThis job causes the adjusted forecast to be copied to the budget line for all parts, so after this you will have a budget value on all parts that are based equal to the adjusted forecast of all parts.”However the job seems to be copying the system forecast rather than the adjusted forecast to the budget, meaning any changes that have been made and approved by the demand planners is not being reflected. The same also occurs if I copy to target sales plan rather than budget. Is there a setting somewhere that allows you to switch between adjusted and system, or is the system/documentation incorrect? ThanksAndy
Hi,In apps10 I have a scenario where I have DOP shop orders created from a customer order. The top level item shop order is in released status, but not started in any way. I need to change the date of the customer order and replicate that change through the DOP connected items, however whenever I change the date of the customer order I see an error message that I need to change the pegged order update setting as it cannot change the release shop order.I am not aware of any such pegged order update settings. My site settings and supplier settings (this DOP goes through intercompany supplier as the CO starts on one site with manufacturing on another) all have send automatic change requests. For other items the change date replication works fine, making me think this is a part setting, but I cannot see anything that would affect this. Has anyone seen this error before?
I have a customer who wants to create a fixed/ level loaded plan based on forecast, i.e. a set quantity every day/. They were originally manually loading all shop orders instead of using requisitions, but this presented problems when the shop orders were late and had to be re-scheduled. One idea was to use master scheduling with a rate by period… with then a future dated material requisition to create enough demand to allow the requisitions to fill every day.The problem I have is that the rate by period seems to create an MPS suppy irrespective of whether I have actual supply from firmed orders, as per the example below where I have shop orders for 14, on several days, but MS still suggests I make another 14, meaning 28 per day. If I convert those requisitions to shop orders and re-run ms it will ask me to make another 14.Is there any way to have the rate by period take into account existing supply, as it just seems very wrong the way it works currently?Alternative suggestions for a to
Hi,When running Apps 10 I have qualification profiles assigned against routing work guidelines based on employee competencies. I need the work guidelines signed off by a suitably qualified employee. This all works fine in Enterprise Explorer from the shop floor workbench when signed in as an employee, however in Aurena there does not appear to be any work guideline functionality on the shop floor workbench, so that if I was to use the shop order work guideline screen, this does not allow me to enter as an employee and so bypasses qualification requirements.Has anyone had any success in using qualification profiles on work guidelines in Aurena, if so how? Or is this just missing functionality in Aurena? ThanksAndy
