´Hello, we are developing our own customzations using the IFS Developer Studio. The changes can accumulate over time and instead of building a delivery every week or so we would like to automatically deploy all modified files in batch.I found multiple interesting approaches., but none work for us reliably at the moment:Building the delivery manually https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/070_remote_deploy/500_building_manually/030_build_delivery/We cannot do this at the moment. We do not have access to download the required ifs_fetch related tools. Using IFS Developer StudioI discovered that right clicking the Database Connection in IFS Developer you can Generate & DeployModified files (seems based on git) Open files in editorThis works well enough for entity/projection/client files but not for fragment or cdb files. My workaround at the moment is to keep a list of modified files with path (A workaround for .fragment files is to include the respective client/projection files in the
Hello everyone,we are developing our own modifications for IFS Cloud 22.2.2 with the IFS Developer Studio. We had several issues before ordering environments and deliveries from the build place which were related to the compilation and deployment procedure. But now I do not how to fix this problem. SzenarioWe added a custom field to CustomerOrder in Component ORDER. This field is a enumeration. The enumeration was placed in component ORDER.Now we want to use this enumeration in Component CFGCHR - Entity ConfigOptionValue. But the deployment when ordering an environment fails: !!!Error deploying file cfgchr/ConfigOptionValue.apv at 10-JAN-23 14:35:53!!!Error creating VIEW CONFIG_OPTION_VALUECREATE OR REPLACE VIEW CONFIG_OPTION_VALUE ASSELECT characteristic_id characteristic_id, option_value_id option_value_id, description description, note_text note_text, Pol_Legal_Constraints_API.Decode(pol
Hi everyone,we just upgraded to 22.2.2 and are developing our own extensions using the IFS Developer Studio.22R2 removes all the core code from the repository and you have to download them and include them via the project settings.Until now we were able to quickly search for a file using the navigator feature “Search in IFS Model Files”. This now only finds our cust Files. This is a major setback as scrolling through the thousands of files in the core section is a pain in the ***. A similiar feature that does not work anymore is when you have a source files open, click a right mouse button and select “Select in Projects”. This used to select the file in the navigator. Useful if you were in for example a wrong file and wanted to select another one, similar name. This works only with cust files now as well… Will this be fixed with a future version of the developer studio? Any other hints/tips on how to quickly select a core file for customization or looking for example code? All the bes
Hello,we are currently trying to upgrade from 22.1.7 to 22.2.1 via the release update studio. I was following the guide here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/020_lifecycle/090_release_update_studio/040_cust_upliftment_prep/As you can see we were able to update the codebase, sanity build was successful, but the delivery creation failes. The delivery build tries to create 2 additional views that I cannot find anywhere in the code, either our repository or the cloud 22.2.1 files. !!!Error deploying file install.tem at 14-NOV-22 10:16:22!!!Error occurred while executing Plsql BlockBEGIN Database_SYS.Read_User_Objects_Snapshot_('Y');END;ORA-20105: Database.NEW_INVALIDS: New invalids after deployment:Schema IFSAPPTAXLED\TAX_LEDGER_ITEM_INFO_PER_QRY - ViewTAXLED\TAX_LEDGER_ITEM_INFO_QRY - ViewORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.ERROR_SYS", line 140ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.ERROR_SYS", line 339ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.DATABASE_SYS", line 577ORA-06512: at line 2 Additionally I can find another error in the impor
