We were running the BA Execution Server on a Windows 2012 VM in three environments (Test, Acceptance and Production). In the Test environment we upgraded the Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019 and the BA Execution Server was running like a dream.Unfortunately, after doing the same upgrade in the Acceptance environment (2012 to 2019), the BA Execution Server will start, but reports are not fully rendering. We get the same error message each and every time:Error occured when opening report: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A03EC): Microsoft Excel cannot access the file 'C:\IFS_BAES\Work\1064471\SER_1.xlsx'. I have a BR report in APPS10 where I’d like to run multiple reports at once. In this example, the report takes a work task number for input and generates several pages for the work task. I’d like to either be able to pass in a list of work task numbers to the report itself or have IFS recursively call the report to produce multiple. Ideally, our end users would like a single combined PDF as well, but I’m not sure if that’s possible in the recursive case.So far, I’ve tried using sheet repeaters when allowing multiple values for work task input, thinking that the sheet repeaters could iterate over the list. This doesn’t seem to work, as the report just returns the design version, with no fields populated.I also tried to dig into the package (XLR_TEMPLATE_UTIL_API) that I think actually executes the reports, but I was struggling to successfully generate a report.Does anyone have thoughts on whether the above points are possible, and if so, how? Thanks!
Hello, I am working on creating the ability to insert a new row in Business Reporter and have it wrote back to IFS.I am given the normal pop up to insert a new row, I enter the information and press ‘OK’ and occasionally the new line will not be created. There is no error message that is given and nothing happens.Insert New Values ScreenAny advice on why this may happen or how to trouble shoot would be appreciated.
Hi, Please, can someone advise me how to add LoV while ordering Business Report in IFS Client. For one parameter there is no list of values and I don't know why. If I check the dimension for this parameter in Dimension Item Details I see this set up. Is it publishing Info window where I should set something to get LoV in Client. Anyone any Idea ? Thank you Martin Gestinger
