No worries @ShawnBerk. We have only started to work on this in earnest recently (other projects took priority) with a target date of Mar 2025. Our original upgrade for testing was 22R2 and we are currently struggling through our first attempt to lift to 23R2. There should be many fixes, but it seems as though there are many issues with the IFS instructions / documentation on this process so we are creating our own documentation as we discover the limitations.
We have just started looking at the academy for training and received our first install to start testing with. We have not even got that up and going yet. No real experience with the APP other than sandbox/race environment.Basically, nothing to report yet.
Hi @ShawnBerk. We are embarking on a similar journey (Apps 9 UPD17 to Cloud). Thank you so much for providing the original 14 points from 9 months ago. I’m wondering if you would be willing to provide an update on how the project has gone for you. Some of the things that you have learned, and especially anything that we should be looking at from an API / customization perspective. Again - thank you so much for your contributions to date!
That did bring back the two examples of this issue, so I will log a support case. Thank you so much!Do you know why / how this happens?
Hi Nancy, Thank you for your quick reply! We tried that and are still getting the same error. The lines that we deleted from the report archive did not have the “Printed” box checked. Do you know if that might have anything to do with it?We had this same issue a while back, but it seemed to have “cleared itself” overnight somehow. Do you know if there is something that might be causing them to get “stuck”? Thanks again,Scott
@Mathias Dahl Thank you for your response. Some context for my comment - Our organization is looking for ways to automate our AP process, so my thoughts around AI/ML - as well as tags and metadata - stem from that. Specifically using smart OCR to screen scrape and organize receiving documents and invoices from suppliers in a way that allows for extensive searchability.I hope that helps. I look forward to hearing more about what you have in store for us.
I am curious to see if/how IFS plans to incorporate the use of tags and other metadata, as well as the growing trend toward AI / ML.
