I have a customer who is looking for us to provide ‘best practice’ for these fields and the best way to utilize them in IFS Cloud.
In web browser when you are in a field and select <Control> <Alt> <F1> keys at the same time it will bring up a ‘state view’ popup, that will show the element id along with additional information. If you are on a laptop, you may need to also select <function> key with the <F1>.
I do see this option also in 15.2
Joshua, that setting worked. It actually created a unique SV number when deployed from a project. It references the project number in the source document id. thank you!
The issue is with integration to their financial system, it cannot handle duplicate order numbers. They want to use either phase or transactional PSA invoicing at different steps in the project with the same order number their system cannot process.
When you access the license page and highlight the line for Customer Portal and tap the zoom button it will take you to a listing of contacts that have that license assigned. By highlighting a user and tap the Delete User button it will remove the license from that user. The orders the contact has open will not be affected but the contact will no longer have access to the Customer Portal.One thing to be aware of…..If you have the ability for them to self-register they can set themselves back up if they know the company self-registration code. They can’t use the same id, but they could create a different one.
