Crystal Reports in Aurena: Passing Parameters.

Hi @Randini Jayasundara , Thank you for the idea.I did try this out today, but was unable to pass a parameter to the Crystal Report using the External Navigation Link, or through the URL.It appears that I am unable to populate the field in the report using the URL, and cannot navigate to the generated Crystal report passing in the Request No. It seems the only way to generate the report is to manually enter in the parameter value. My company does have a ticket open with IFS on this issue, but I am not sure there is a way to accomplish this passing in the value. I will post here if a workaround is found though.I appreciate the help ,Thank you

Crystal Reports in Aurena: Passing Parameters.

Thank you for the response @Randini Jayasundara .Is there any other way to pass a field value to a crystal report? Perhaps through a URL filter?We would really like to be able to pass the Request NO from the Change Request directly into a Crystal Report. I understand if this is not possible but just wanted to ask if there might be another way to do it. Thank you

Aurena Lobby Navigation with Parameters

Hello @anmise this was a very helpful answer. I am working on something similar, but am unable to pass a parameter for Custom fields. I can for standard fields, but when trying the $[COLUMN_NAME] syntax for the custom fields I don’t get the correct value.I’m using this for the Web URL :lobby/b84e71fc-e131-46db-9a9a-2a77a2e814df?pageParams=CCB:$[CF$_CCB_NAME],CaseFileNumber:$[CF$_CASE_FILE_NUMBER],NCP:$[CF$_NCP_NUMBER],Title:$[DESCRIPTION] But this is what gets passed. Here the ‘Title of change’ which is the DESCRIPTION is the only standard field and is the only one that gets passed correctly.Is there some sort of special syntax for passing custom fields, or is it just not possible to pass custom fields in this way?

Query Builder isn't working

Hi @johnw66 and @Tj12 .Thank you so much for your responses! I looked into it today, and found we do have some LU_NAMEs that give the exact same ‘DB_NAME Too Long’ error. We are looking into it more, and will log an issue with IFS it help resolve further. This was a great help, so thank you again!

Reference type lookup custom field turns blank (not displaying text) on Aurena Custom page after save and page refresh

This turned out to be tied to an issue that our old IFS environment had. When we moved to our new environment, this problem was no longer occurring.

Custom Actions cannot be created for Custom or Standard Projections.

It turns out this was an issue with our old IFS 10 environment. We are now able to get PL/SQL data in the dropdown when creating custom actions, in our new IFS 10 environment which is now on update 10.

HI @hansend . Unfortunately we have not gotten this resolved yet. In our current IFS environment, we are not able to get any data for the PL/SQL methods. We are getting a new IFS environment setup, and we are able to get PL/SQL data in that one. It’s on update 8, but will soon be on update 10 like our current environment. Right now we are waiting to find out if this issue is because we are on Update 10, or if it has to do with the current IFS environment we are using. Once the new environment is on Update 10 we will know.

Hi @william.klotz . That is really great information, thank you!I went ahead and tried it but I can’t seem to get it to work on the Aurena side. I grant Full access to the ECO_Request page, and unchecked the NEW__ and REMOVE__ through the database object tab for the permissions set, but I can still add and delete change requests on the Aurnea page. Does the database object tab only affect the EE pages, as in the presentation objects not the projections?

You cannot just use rowversion as it is. You have to convert it Date to text, comme ça: to_char(rowversion,'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS') Thanks Paul. This definitely works. I just wanted to add that you can also use the view to get the OBJKEY and OBJVERIONS for custom LU tables.Method 1: use the CLT (table) view to obtain the ROWKEY and ROWVERSION.SELECT ROWKEY, to_char(ROWVERSION,'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS') into objkey_, objversion_ FROM TABLE_NAME _ROLE_CLT WHERE TABLE_NAME _CLT.ROWKEY = ‘the rowkey for this record’ ); Method 2: use the CLV (view) to obtain the OBJID and OBJVERSION. SELECT OBJKEY, OBJVERSION, into objkey_, objversion_ FROM TABLE_NAME _ROLE_CLV WHERE TABLE_NAME _CLV.OBJKEY= ‘the rowkey for this record’ );

Thanks for the help Paul! So the rowkey is the objid for CLT tables? What is the rowid value for then in the CLT tables.

Hi Paul, I actually found out that I should be using the CLV table (the view) . to get the objversion, and objkey, and apparently the objid_. I can use it as is when getting it from the view. Also, I found that the modify__ and remove__ methods, use the objid_ attribute not the objkey_ attribute. I’m not sure why the modify method asks for object key when the object ID needs to be passed. It’s a little confusing.

Hello Paul,This is where I can edit an existing custom projection. I can add more entities (LUs) , and Entity associations for those LUs, but can’t specify the Key Mapping for those associations.
