Define a Master Schedule by Part This behavior is ok Enter Forecast with Distribute Cumulative Forecast This behavior is ok Calculate with “Run MS – One Part But the reality is That is wrong.
Hi Mats, what do you mean with MPS? Tell me please what will MS1 do with following szenario Part is manufactered No safety stock is defined No stock is given No previous shop orders exist Not previous shop order requisition exist Manufacturing lead time is 7 days In MS1 DTF 7 / PTF 140 Create S/P Req is defined Forecast 15.2.24 - 100 pcs Forecast 15.3.24 - 100 pcs Forecast 15.4.24 - 100 pcs Forecast 15.5.25 - 100 pcs After calculation MS 1 Calendar is defined with 365 days working day be honest i expect Shop order requisition 7.2.24 → supply for forecast 15.2.24 → inside ptf Shop order requisition 7.3.24 → supply for forecast 15.3.24 → inside ptf Shop order requisition 7.4.24 → supply for forecast 15.4.24 → inside ptf MS Supply 7.5.24 → supply for forecast 15.5.24 → outside ptf What is the correct result? From my point of view it must be considering the lead time and create correspondingshop order req otherwise it isnt posssible to supply the demand of defined forecast.CheersAlberto
Hi, we got last month from the german product managers an overview about MSO and we are realy disillusioned. We think actualy APB has more functions as MSO. But the hope dies at last. Our customers are working with special third party tools APS like Dualis or Etagis before they come to IFS and know the state of art and we have to implement low level solution with apb or mso. it isnt nice
Hi Lakshan, thank you for speedy answer.I also thougth that this is the only way to fix, but i hoped it exist a precise and granular functionfor explicit fixing.BR,Alberto
Hi, I am honestly very surprised and deeply disappointed.A case to the support I see here as a request to the community and an obvious error, forecast changes so must be recalculated and not simply looked at a PTF, is dismissed with a terse comment.Where should this still lead?
Hello majose,I am aware of the calculation. Thank you again for reminding me. The problem was purely related to setting the time periods. As a current Aurena user, sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees. But as mentioned before, Thanks for the post.CheersAlberto
Hi, the material line was not reserved, On hand is 0. But also no shortage is created.
Hi Björn,your screens show the expected result by myself.I think i have a general problem with shortage at this project. The global parameter is enabled, the inventory parts are correct defined but i dont receive any message in mentioned dialog also too not at arrival. The best way to resolve this issue i think is create a lcs case.Anyway a big thank you for your support.Greetings from Switzerland
Hi Björn,thanks for answer with warp speedBoth parts (product and component) are defined with shortage enabled asset class, both inventroy parts are defined with activated shortage notification. One released shop order with issuing method “reserve” at component exist. But no record appear in mentioned dialog after release shop order or trying to reserve material
