Hello Hashane, thanks for flagging this. Can you please add a bit more information about the version of IFS Apps or IFS Cloud you are using? Many thanks!
Hi Pierrick,in standard it is not possible. Can you please explain the business case in which you need the “in progress” status?Cheers!Ata
Hi Alex, thanks for reaching out. As you know, the Purchase Order/ Req authorization is a functionality, specific to Supply Chain functionality, and no generic approval functionality. So, this one can’t be used.I think it is quite simple for customers to control the Line Manager’s and Director’s approval, using Business Process Automation (Workflow) together with the “actions” in Sales Process. Don’t you agree? E.g. if 1st step approved, add 2nd step, if Opportunity is >100.000$.Best Regards,Ata
Hi, thank you for the detailed description of your problem. Let me forward this to one of my experts and get back to you, shortly.Cheers, Ata
Hi,thank you for your question. This is a valid question and requirement, as the functionality you are asking for is generally useful. Let me explain why it was not prioritized in the past. There are multiple reasons why this was not done. As the CRM Companion has offline capabilities, the complexity of adding the Opportunity Lines was the main reason. Parts, assortments, pricing rules, etc. would have to be synchronized to the mobile device. But as it was clear that IFS would receive a new mobile framework in IFS Cloud, called “Aurena Native”, investments into the old framework would not have been a good idea. In IFS Cloud we will release the first Aurena Native offline mobile app in the 21R2 release. Once on this new mobile framework, we can expand the functionality over the next releases. Business Opportunity Lines are on top of the list for 2022. I hope this was helpful. Best Regards,Ata
Hi, is this in a customer environment or an internal IFS environment? Please provide some additional information!Best Regards,Ata
Hi Natalie, please correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems to me that you have a malfunctioning customization, as the above fields are not fields from the standard Business Mail page. In this case, please open a new case to get your customization fixed.Unfortunately it is very hard for the community to provide help with customizations. But as the Product Manager of CRM your requirement to have fields giving you information about the sender of and his customer no. and details has been noted. I will make sure this is addressed in future releases of our CRM.Please come back to me if you have any further questions.Best Regards,Ata
Hi Natalie,I checked the case you gave me. Are any customizations involved, here? Or are the fields you have in your above screenshot custom fields?BR Ata
Hi montez.knowles.You said it was going to be addressed in UPD8 and UPD10? Can you please share a case ID in order for me to check? Also, how did you configure your Custom Fields?Best Regards,Ata
Hi,regarding your first question: unfortunately IFS IEE does not support defaulting fields in dialogs. This is a framework restriction.Regarding the second part: I assume you mean you would like to keep track, which Business Lead it originated from. This is currently not possible, because the Business Lead is deleted upon conversion. We understand that some IFS customers would like to preserve the Business Lead record for later analysis, so we are going to implement in the next - IFS Cloud Releases - measures, so you can decide if you would like to keep the Business Lead or not.I hope this was helpful.Best Regards,Ata
Hi,we do have a similar requirement in the CRM roadmap for 21R2 “Manage Customer CRM data on local or regional level”. It is more focussed on the “by company” management of CRM info, but as a stretch goal we might look into managing the Sales Rep in a slightly different way. I hope this will help customers manage their data better and avoid the creation of duplicate customers.
Hi! Thank you for your request and sorry about not picking it up earlier. There are many customer loyalty solutions on the market that can achieve what you are looking for. The question is how you can get the system of your choice integrated with your version of IFS Applications. Obviously integrating these web-based systems has become much easier with the REST APIs in Apps 10. Can you please share an update with the community about your experiences since you posted your question? And also your version of IFS Apps? Much appreciated.Best Regards, Ata
