Ah, so we too had this problem and it is solvable by utilising Edge in IE compatibility mode.Firstly, ensure edge is set to allow ‘Open in Internet Explorer Mode’, in Edge, click the elipses and go to settings then default browser. Under the Internet Explorer compatibility section, turn on the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode toggle switch. Now below, you can add the URL to the managed sites and this will then automatically select this mode when you open that site - you need to be quite specific here. If it doesn’t work immediately, click on the lobby and edge will open but will fail as usual - click on the elipses and then select open in internet explorer mode - you’ll then get a choice to add it automatically from here. Next time you load the lobby, edge will work without asking any questions. Now we use this option for a number of sites that don’t work in edge correctly but be aware that the managed sites only last for a month and are deleted. We use a group polic
Easiest method to check, browse to the site URL using e.g. a modern and up to date e.g. edge browser - if that rejects, you’ve got a problem but fixing is going to be down to wherever the hosting is which I think maybe IFS for touch apps but doesn’t have to be. Matt
Hi, Have you checked if certs are SHA1 SHA256 (now needed) and TLS on the host is 1.2? If you’re below these then chances are you’ll get an SSL exception which could break the chain now. Matt
Hi, When we took on IFS, they provided me with a zip file full of migration jobs and some basic training material to use in the ‘migration jobs’ navigator item. The migration tool is built into Apps9 and I’m pretty sure it’s not gone in 10 so just search in the navigator for ‘Migration Jobs’ and populate to see if you have any. If not, the zip file containing the migration toolkit can be obtained from IFS support direct and there shouldn’t be much argument in obtaining it. It’s not the greatest tool out there and if you know a bit about Oracle PSQL, there’s probably better ways to write the scripts yourself but it’s pretty simple to migrate any table using the migration jobs functions and if you dig into the detail of the standard toolkit, you can quite easily write really complex migration jobs that can then be automated to create your own interfaces to external systems (apart from Fixed Assets which are a dark art!!!). Kind regards, Matt
Hi Fatima,May I ask if you’ve looked at the standard migration toolkit and the specific job migrate_supplier? I’m not sure which version of IFS you have (assuming 10) but on 9, the order in that job is:Supplier_infoSupplier_info_addressSupplier_info_address_type ….. repeated for however many you needSupplier_AddressSupplier_info_VATSupplier_document_tax_infoIdentity_invoice_infoSupplierIdentity_pay_infoPayment_way_per_identityPayment_address Obviously you can go on further with other tabs but TBH and for the most part, the sub-tabs and sub-sub tabs can be imported in any sequence as long as you start at the top and work down through them. Hope this helps… Matt
Maybe a quick report - ‘select <api - with &params> from dual’ which can be added to Navigator? Matt
