Thanks for the advice. Is the All checkbox a IFS cloud feature as I can’t see it on my apps 10 version ? Interestingly it filters the 0 balances out if i put > 0 but when i put <> 0 it still displays them. ThanksCameron
Another error that has appeared if this is any help ?
Thanks for the reply Yeah sorry i tried it with another info source but it seemed to break the report. That is why i was trying dimensions. Trying what you have state still causes issues for me. when in my report it throws errors until those boxes are emptied. Is there another part of the process after this screen that i could be missing ?report works fine when i remove the drill down settings The only difference is I'm using a quick information source. Does that matter ? Thanks again Cameron
Hi, No, you cannot use multiple values in combination with the like statement. If you use multiple values, you can use the IN condition instead. Combining both conditions (LIKE and IN) would be very useful but isn’t possible as far as I know. Cheers, Paul Ah that’s a shame, Maybe a future feature. Thanks for your help!
Hi, I normally select ‘%’ as default value in the parameter definition and then apply condition 'LIKE &Parameter’. Best regards, Paul Cheers Paul, twice you have helped me! Does the like statement still allow for multi values if I enable it in the Parameter area ? I had for got to say there could be 3 scenariossingle value Multi selected values everything As state above I'd imagine it will work. Thanks for all your help!
Do you know you can find the query that gets prepared for your report in 'Information Sources - Runtime Log’. If you know how to read SQL statement, maybe you can identify from there what is incorrect. Thanks for this also i wasn’t aware of this
Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply, Sorry for the lack of detail on this one. I left it generic originally as i seem to be seeing issues in multiple reports related to the filters. I will try my best to describe the issue i am having in the most recent report. Here is the report description - Report created using an IAL and only has a info source All joins are handled in the IAL and data pulls through fine when run outside of business report The report has a repeater on the line Two fields i have an issue with pull through figures but the filter was set at cell level for those two fields and when cross referencing data in the system it seems to have completely ignored the filters I set in business report and just presented data with no filter. In some cases the only way I have been able to present the data with the filters i have needed is to add that statement into the IAL and not in business reports. Using a case statement and different field naming conventions. So basically my issues
