@Mathias Dahl I’ve got this from my customer:One question regarding this workaround, it will not work for shared computers that is common for them. There is one thing to move the registry key com.ifsworld.aurenaagent from HKCU to HKLM, but the registry key itself are pointing at C:\Users\<user1>\AppData\Local\IFS\IFSAurenaAgent\aurenaagent_manifest.json.When the next user are logging on to the computer that user will not have accesss to user1 appdata. In our opinion the whole installation should be moved out from user dependencies.
Thank you for your quick response!I have forward your suggestion both to the customer and to our workplace technicians.I let you know the outcome.
Thank you @Sachitha,We have one in CS0177755.
Hi,Are we the only one facing this problem or how has other customer solved this or found a way around when we have disallowed user-level native messaging hosts? You mention @Mathias Dahl, that we could create our own installation package, do we need the code from IFS in order to do that or could I extract from the existing MSI if I have a workplace technician?//Leffe Welén
I can add to jolnse’s comment,Upgraded to 23.2.3, downloaded a new xml add-in file, uninstall old Excel add-in, uninstall IE 11, enabled IE compability mode on edge and add the site to Internet Explorer mode pages, even tried to change default browser to Chrome, always with a restart of Excel in between.Still got: User action cannot be completed because the browser version is not supported. Please check the IFS technical documentation.Any more advice?
We discovered the same error and installation of Middletier didn't solved the problem. We where asked to see if there was any data in table fnd_java_impl_libs and lob_file_import_tab, if so recreate the POD oData. In our case even these tables where empty so we had to rerun db-import-data.cmd manually, it's placed at <build-home>\ifsinstaller\installers, the command are described in the documentation at https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/020_installation/200_installing_ifs_cloud/035_ifs_cloud_ifsinstaller/050_installer_scripts/#db-import-datacmdsh. After running this script and restart of oData POD we managed to solve our problem.
