I guess variables in the format of &USER_MAIL_ADDRESS can be used in email parameters like to, cc, subject and message as a way of customizing each mail sent.
Hi Bryan,There is an event action type called ‘email’. Instead of calling a workflow once the event is triggered you can send an email. Is this something you cannot achieve with email event actions? Do you specifically need the email functionality as a part of a workflow?/Lahirumala
Hi Bryan,User tasks are not available with event actions. If you can use a projection action to trigger the same point as in the custom event you can use a user task in your case./Lahirumala
You can follow this documentation path which shows how form data can be used as parameters for an “external program” type custom menu. https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/220_user_interface/020_custom_objects/020_custom_menus/default.htm#How_to_use_form_data_in_parameters Basically you can write it like this Then in your application access payroll_id as a commandline parameter as you would do in a normal c# application.
Another alternative: From the form window add the objects to a selection one at a time. Then go to “selections” window, select the selection → RMB → Mail recipient as link. You will be able to generate a URL that loads all the records.
