Thank you for raising a very valid question. It would only be reflected in a new sales quotation that you create. The old will not be updated with this price variance.
The most used one been adding multiple shop orders to cater intermediate SFG. This would also help the user track the cost at intermediate stages. Additional benefits been to define control plans and measurement of production waste and QA.
Thanks Pradeep, Yes await the recordings for 22R1, hope we would have similar descriptive demo sessions. (Similar to 21R2). Have a great day!Best Regards,Edmund Praveen Wijetunge
Hello!Good day to you! This would not be possible via the core IFS functionality . However, you would have to define the standard operations in a customized form as a basic data. Reflect the changes to Routing Template and Routing. Similar customizations have been done in the apparel industry.
As clearly mentioned by Björn Hultgren. Yes this is possible to receive multiple parts through a single shop order (production order in other systems). You could define the main product and other products in the by-products tab. Additionally by-product costing can be done separately.Example many fish exporting companies have similar needs where some of the offcuts are defined as by-products and used for other processes.
