Custom Field Visible on tbwCustomerOrderLine_Ext layout

I have created a custom field on the bottom of the Customer Order view (tbwCustomerOrderLine_Ext). Although I can ‘see’ the field in Mandatory tab of the Object Properties it is not listed in the Layout tab. Because of this I have not been able to make it available to users.

Account Matching - Intercompany & accounts

We have G/l accounts that balance between entities each month. They are different g/l code numbers depending on the entity. Is it possible to match of transactions between these so that reconcilliation at end of month is easier? We usually have a balance that needs investigated to work out what it is etc, be good if we could match off and see exactly what any issues are

Write off of Bank Charges in Aurena

We have a situation where, in Aurena, we have to resort to IEE as Aurena does not allow us to complete the task:When we receive a payment from a EU customer, the bank currently charges us a fee which is netted off against the receipt meaning we cannot use the automatic customer offset as the receipt no longer matches the invoices Although there is an allowable difference, we cannot always use this as we may have invoice queries/disputes meaning we often receive payments from customers against later invoices and not the earliest meaning the automatic allocation does not pick up any matching meaning we have to use the manual function which does not allow write offsIn IEE, we can create a new Customer Offset Proposal, select the CUPOA and the invoices to be matched then scroll to write off and enter the amount(s) we wish to write off.We can allocate in Automatic Transaction Matching however we often receive payment much earlier than the remittance advice meaning we cannot reconcile the ba

FTP - Move documents

Hi,We currently have an issue with one of our FTP servers that we use for DOCMAN so I moved all repositories to the other FTP server we use..I’ve moved all the existing files to the new FTP and created new repository, but now we still can’t view the existing documents so I’m assuming IFS is still looking at the ‘old’ location. Do I need to run the ‘Change Document Repository’ utility so IFS will look at the new location? Thanks,Mick.

Multi Currency in Multi Site

I have a scenario where one company have many sites in different countries.This has been setup to operate company accounting currency for all sites and operational for many years.Now they need each site to use their own currency for the internal transactions (dealing with local vendors and other stake holders). Whereas international transactions to be done with the same company accounting currency.I cannot find any option to have site specific currency setup. Any workaround or solution exist.

Different inventory cost and purchase price

How is it possible that a inventory part purchase with price 100 and inventory cost shows 1000? the only transactions happening were transport of stock between locations in the Site.

Mobile WO - alternative method for customer signature

Does anyone have an alternative solution for getting a customers signature for the report in of a work order without having to hand over the mobile device to the end customer. Due to covid we have some customers refuse to handle the mobile devices.is there anyone else who has had this issue?

Hello, I am currently having Issues with Appointment booking screen in PSO. we are integrated with apps 10 and can use the appointment booking features within Apps. CRM panel Overview my activities and opportunities

Is there a way to get an overview of my activities and opportunities in the CRM panel?If I receive an email from a colleague who is registered as Representative in IFS, I can click on his/her name and I’ll get an overview of all opportunities and activities where he is present. BUT I don’t seem to be able to click on my own name and get the same overview.According to a topic here it is possible in the SRM panel - you can click on your name in the recipient/attendees list to navigate to the representative details page. The same should be possible in the CRM panel.Do I need to make a setting or is this a missing feature in the CRM Panel in IFS?

HiI struggle to mark several lines in aurena and export them. Right now i have a button select all or select one line by line. Can I somehow mark a line, scroll down and mark a line again and all lines between are marked?In IEE i was able to mark the boarder and pull down the mouse to marke several lines. how do i do this in Aurena

Lobby Element Designer Form Mapping

Greetings,I know that Form Mapping will be used to display Lobby Element on the certain (associated form).However, there is no documentation available to explain how we can create Lobby Element and associate the Lobby Element to Mapped to Forms. I came conclusion that the Mapped to Forms are only possible for the Lobby Elements that were created by RnD only. Am I correct?Hopefully IFS R&D / IFS Employee would give a comment on this subject since this question has been posted 1 year ago and until today there is no response from IFS. what are the criteria use in setting up base flows and master flow in a multi echelon distribution network

we are struggling in set up our base flow ; we do not know whether to set it by customer or by part for forecasting purpose. Please we can use some help in setting up our base flows, combined flows and master flows . should we use by Parts or by customer o by Location . Tracing MRP Purchase Requisition tied to a Work Order

Is it possibly to set up the MRP Run/Action proposals to differentiate between demand from parts on a Work Order and from parts below safety stock?The reason why I am asking is that after I added components to the Work Order (Materials Tab) and ran the MRP, they Purchase Requisition shows up with MRP as Requisitioner (ideally I would like to have the work order number on this field to make it easier for tracking stock replenisment orders and orders against a W.O.)I know that if parts are added directly on the Work Order/ Requisitions tab, this information is carried accross and the Purchase Requisition is flagged with Requisitioner as WO, but I am trying to get this same function through the Work Order/ Materials tab.

Aurena Server error

We’re running Apps 10 Update 10 and after a Linux update to one of our dev instance Oracle database server, we’re getting the dread “Server Error” when trying to log into Aurena. The other 2 instances received the same back end patch to their Oracle db servers and are working fine. There is nothing definitive in any of the wls_domain/<instance>/servers logs and I’m not sure where else to look. According to the https://:port/admin middleware forms all the deployments are green. Any idea where else I can look for the cause of this error. This dev environment worked without issue before the db server upgrade and IEE works fine.

Hi,In the case f my customer, It was agreed to set up juste one Base Profile and have the possibility to use Personnel Profile by users.After starting, severel personalizations have been stored in the Base profile by administrator, and in the Personnel Profile by the users.The problem, when the customer decides the retroacvtivity on a personalization of Base Profile.Case: making a field non mandatory, initially this field was made mandatory in the Base Profil. When applying this Base profile again, the modification is not visible to some users, bacause they had made some personalizations on the same window, stored in the Personnel Profil, because by definition, and as standard, it is the Personal Profile that takes precedence (which have priority). Have you any solutions for this case? than you in advance for your help.Ouahiba

IFS LOBBY PAGE MULTIPLE SITES

Good Afternoon, I was wondering if it was possible to be able to pull multiple sites from the lobby filter, i have a inventory elelement and right now i can filter one site at a time, and it loads into my element correctly, was wondering if there was a way to be able to add multiple site codes and have all those load into the elemenet.This is something i am just testing so i dont have to have multiple lobbies for each individual. if its not possible it is not a big deal. Aurena access from the web

we are looking at accessing Aurena from the internet rather then using VPN. The documentation refers to a reverse proxy but we are currently using a port forwarding rule within our firewall to access our Touch Apps server. Does anyone have any Pros and Cons regarding both methods? Also, exposing port 48080 to access Aurena, is there a way to change the port to the admin portal so it isn’t accessible from the web ( /admin ). thanks,Steven
