Hello,Is there a way to add a newly-created GL account to a single Accounting Structure that is being used across multiple companies at once? Currently, when a new account is added, we have to go into each company, query that single Accounting Structure and add it manually into the structure node. We have potential for 50+ companies in the future that will be using the same balance sheet structure for consolidation purposes and it would be very cumbersome to go into each of those companies to manually add it. Is there an easier way to manage this if the same exact structure ID is being used?
Hello, I would like to know if anyone has used IFS for tagging transactions, specifically non-cash transactions (i.e. gain/loss on sale) for use in cash flow statement preparation? If so, is this done via code parts? For cash transactions, the cash flow source IDs do help but unfortunately do not flow to the GL Balance Analysis so I’m looking for a solution on the GL side. We handle our cash flow statements in excel but it would be helpful if certain transactions were grouped by way of tagging it somehow in the system and the time of entry. Thank you!
Hello,We are currently using UPD10 and we have entered our entire fleet data in the system however we still need to use our old system for other data such as driver names, insurance, license #s and schedules. Is there another area in IFS or any plans for future IFS releases that can house this data so that we can eliminate double work (in separate systems) to maintain all fleet data?Best regards,Lily
Hello,I am curious if anyone has experience consolidating the same reporting company in multiple master companies which would result in different relationships for eliminations? At the REPORTING Company level, we designate Customer Groups to map to specific GL accounts if it is a related customer and then at the MASTER company, we further control which GL accounts to eliminate in the intercompany elimination rules. Since it is initially set up at the REPORTING company, I would like to know how this is managed when that same company rolls up into a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th master company. Issue: Customer Group (Related Party, External, etc.) relationship can change, depending on what Master Company it is rolling up to, but that the Customer Group is controlled at the REPORTING company. For example, Corp A & B are related companies with same parent, Master Company (MC) #1. In this example, B is a Customer Group 2 “Consolidated Member, Related Trade AR”. When consolidations are run, th
