In Document Basic - Document Defaults per Object, I have assigned document classes to specific Lu’s.When creating a new document on the object, the default document class is pre-populated in the Create New Document pop up dialog. This works as expected. If I have multiple document classes set to the same Lu. When creating a new document from the object, the “priority 1” document class is the default in the Create New Document pop up. This is also expected. However, when I click on the ellipsis to select a different document class, I expect to see only the document classes defined in the Document Defaults per Object. Instead, I see every document class in the system. Is it possible to limit the selectable document classes to those configured in the Document Defaults per Object?
If a LTU is created with an over allocation of access, is it possible to deny specific users to part of the LTU grants.Example: If my LTU contains read access to Inventory Parts, Sales Parts, and Safety Incidents. Can I assign the LTU to two different types of users and deny access to Safety Incidents to one of those users? A follow up question; Is there a minimum quantity of seats when defining a LTU? Could I purchase just one seat of a configuration?
When extending the dates of a calendar, what are the considerations for how far to extend the dates?-Is there a system impact for extending them to far? If a calendar is generated and the holiday exceptions change, would there be a potential for conflict when generating the modified calendar if a “new” holiday date was used by an object (purchase order, shipment...)?
I am configuring the incident distribution list, however I seem to missing a piece of the puzzle. I have the basic data configured, the distribution list is populating on the incident after it is confirmed / acknowledged… However the state of the distribution list item is “To be alerted” even though the notification type is automatic. I believe that where I am missing the mark is when configuring the event conditions. My expectation is: when the conditions of the distribution list configuration have been meet, the corresponding distribution list will be populated on the incident. Because the notification type is automatic, the email will be generated by the system per the configuration of the event action.Am I going in the right direction?
Is it possible to administrate the User Settings in Document Management Basic Data for all users rather than manage them individually from the user? I am not able to find these in profiles or user settings.
