We use iterated characteristics in our Configurator (IFS 10, UPD 11).Is there a better way to use these iterated characteristics in a Sales Rule condition, rather than write out each iteration for each Option Value being specified? This is what I’m doing right now. Where I have the same Option Values, but it’s iterated based on 1-SHELFITEMTYPE%. We have up to 7 shelf items, meaning I have to do this 7 times to account for every iteration. I’ve tried using 1-SHELFITEMTYPE[1-SHELFCUR] which is our iteration counter to insert current iteration into 1-SHELFITEMTYPE, but this does not work. Thanks!
We’re using IFS 9, version 14.Has anyone ever had experience when attempting to manage the difference between cost (such as Estimated Material Cost on the Inventory Part, or Latest Purchase Price on Supplier for Purchase Part) versus the price in the Feature Pricing (Configuration Base Pricing/Price List Pricing). We want to have visibility into when our cost is eating into margins, and the difference between the pricing on the Configuration and the cost of the part is what’s we’re interested in seeing. Since multiple parts (therefore multiple different costs) can contribute to one feature, or vice versa, I’m trying to determine if there’s a way to effectively manage variance between the cost and price, when price is not directly connected to the cost in the system.
We are using IFS 9, with plans to go to IFS 10.Is there a place in IFS we can view the phantom assembly which allocated instead of the blown-through components of that phantom? We’ve noticed in IFS 10 that there is a field on the Shop Order for Phantom Part No, but this only shows 1 level up. We have instances where there are multiple levels to an assembly, with multiple levels of phantoms. We’d like to see the uppermost assembly that allocated, not just 1 level up.
