When trying to save a modified (Prior Published versions already available) Business Reporter Excel report, nothing happens. If tried to Run the report without saving, the following error appears.errorIfs.Application.Br.Core.ErrorHandling.ReportException: Software failure\nUnexpected error at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.RowColumn.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.ReportGridPane.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.ReportDesigner.ReportDesignPane.SaveGui() at Ifs.Application.ExcelReporter.MainWorkbook.PrepareReportExecution() Have already removed the add in and reinstalled/ restarted to try to avoid this error. Other reports seem to save, even the same report with a change like adding an empty sheet makes the save dialog appear. But after working on a sheet I get this error. What is going wrong here? Thanks in advance.
We’re in IFS APP10 and a quick report (SQL) of which the source is an IAL (i.eSELECT … FROM IFSINFO.C_SOME_IALWHERE ...) fails to export to excel. When clicked on the function, it shows the quick report execution dialog to enter parameters and then shows the error when pressed ok This quick reportThis does not happen to another standard quick report for example with permission to “IFS_ALL” but even if “IFS_ALL” is granted to this report, it still gives the same error. Our other quick reports done without using IALs do not give this error, therefore I believe the IAL is not readable to the Export to Excel function.Questions:Is this a permission issue ( with the quick report or IAL or Both?) If so, which exact permissions need to be granted to make the stream readable? Thanks in advance!
I’m referring to SQL quick report parameters which in F1 docs are mentioned as ‘Default Values’. For example if I wanted to add a parameter to capture the input ‘’Company” but would like the user to choose a company existing in IFS applications, I would like to write it as follows:&COMPANY_LOV.COMPANY However, not columns written like this for every view brings the LOV functionality to the “View Report” dialog. Why is this? How can I find a view from an LU that would work with quick report LOV?Thanks in advance!
We have users in active directory who have their UPN in camel case. ADFS login for IFS doesn’t work for these users. We see that directory ID in User should be the upn but it is forced to uppercase in IFS. for example:active directory UserPrincipleName : userName@domain.comin IFS directory ID: USERNAME@DOMAIN.COM our observation is that users with UPN in all lowercase in active directory can login without an issue. Does IFS not support UPNs in mixed case? any way to transform it in IFS so this doesn’t become a problem when authenticating and not satisfying the Claim Rule Set?
