There is a way to charge customer contract for a fixed amount for every period. You must set the contract pricing as a Fixed Price. As an example:I have setup one year contract, billing every 3 month with total amount 1200.From Billing schedule, you can change the billing type to Fixed and enter the amount required for that period.Period 1 = 200Period 2 = 250Period 3 = 300Period 4 = 450
A number of Alliance users reported that they were missing Status Change option under Service Order, Details page. The reason why Status Change is hidden, because Service Order has been sent to Mobile device. It will be available again after Service Order has been released from Mobile. But for whatever reason if you need to terminate the Service Order from Mobile early, you can do it by turning on the 'Exclude from Mobile' option from Main, Assign/Dispatch page.
Alliance is using caching mechanism to optimize the system performance. Most of the ‘static data’ or data that rarely changed are kept in the cache, so the application does not need to get them from the database over and over again.A couple of examples are Product Description, Pricing Rule template. The cache should be refreshed when user change those values from Alliance UI or IIS is being reset. However, there were cases when customer is trying to update, i.e: Pricing Rule Description using Import Utility, but they still see the old value even though the update was successful. This is because the value you see is the value from the cache, not from the database. In order to turn off the cache mechanism during import, you need to select Refresh Cache option in the Setting section. This will bypass cache mechanism in Alliance.
Re-posting in Alliance User Community:Pressing Ctrl key while clicking hyperlink will open a new tab without losing your original page. For example from Service Order Info page, you click Customer hyperlink while pressing Ctrl key, Customer module will open in a new page.
