PSO - Excluding Task Types from optimization

Hi Community, Is anyone aware if it is possible to exclude activities from the optimization processes based on task types? The idea is to have the activities in PSO but only allow manual scheduling. Thank you for the help!Joana Machado

PSO - Drag and drop with Manual Scheduling only shifts

Hello, While testing the functionality of having shifts with the Manual Scheduling only option we noticed that an activity will only become allocated if we check the options Fix Resource and Fix Date and Time that appear on the Changes Panel that appear after dragging the activity to the position wanted. Does anyone know if this is the proper behavior of the system? Shouldn’t it be enough just drag and drop the activity without checking the two options?Thanks for your help.Kind Regards, Joana Machado

Working Calendars for specific days

Hello, We would like to know if it is possible to have working calendars for specific days of the year, for example, to have a calendar that only allows to allocate work on the 2nd of March and on the 4th of April. We understand that it is possible to create exceptions for specific days, but has anyone ever tried to make all days exceptions except one or two? Thans for the help.Kind Regards, Joana Machado

ORA-00932:Inconsistent datatype while updating Table

Hello all, We were trying to update a field on table C_TASK_EXTENSION (an extension of Task table) and we got the following error: After some explorations, we noticed that this error only occurred when we had a field of the type Longstring populated:  However for example, if we try to update in other table some field when that entry has already a longstring field populated the error does not happen (for example when updating ADDRESS with COMMENTS field populated and also updating a custom table). Has anyone faced this issue before? Kind Regards, Joana Machado

Outbound Message - Processes

Hello, We are trying to put together the xml maps for an outgoing message.  In this message we want to send  the result of an integration function (with different inputs) in two different tags: The expected result is “ok” for the AtewlsNotes - result of the first process - and “notok” for CheckNetworkChange/Code - result of the second process.However what we obtain it the following:  It seems that the result of the second process is being stored in the first tag.Is this the right behaviour? Kind Regards,Joana Machado

XML Maps - Integration function result

Hi, We are creating an incoming message to Create or Update a Task. In this incoming message we will also create/update one or several task text entries related to the task.Our requirement regarding Task Text, is that for a specific task we can only have one task text per text_line_code. Example: For task with task_id = 100 we can have 2 task texts one with text_line_code = TYPE1 and other with text_line_code = TYPE2, but we can not have two task texts entries with text_line code = TYPE1.To meet this requirement we have created a integration map function to do the validations, Before mapping (we will save from this function information for fields: text_line_code, text and text_sequence). The function is working correctly when we are creating/updating only one task_text. However when sending two task_texts, the function runs two times, but it only saves the result of the second time it runs, meaning that both task text entries will have the same information(text_line_code and text).Does

Appointment Booking - Accept Slots Rest API

Hello Community,Our team is exploring the FSM OOTB Rest API perform_threesixty_appt_offer_accept in order to use it to accept a slot after getting slots using the FSM OOTB Rest API perform_threesixty_appt. From what we could understand, on the cases that we are accepting a slot that the system consider not available - meaning that availability is equal to False - the system retrieves the error "The requested appointment is no longer available. Please restart appointment booking process.".However, for example, if we try to accept a slot that is no longer available due to a new unavailability of the resource or another allocation for the same slot or the slot to be picked by another agent should we expect the same response? From our tests, we could not confirm with 100% sure these described scenarios and the related Rest API responses. Thank you so much!Joana Machado

Appointment Booking - perform_threesixty_appt_request

Hello all, On the response of the API perform_threesixty_appt_request we receive a field called "Available". In our understanding this field determines if the slot is available or not. What are the scenarios in which the slots are returned with "Available= False". Is it possible to only receive the slots for which the field is equal to True?Additionally, is there any available documentation about the type and maximum length of the fields that are required for the API? On Odata documentation (https://[url-environment]/odata/docs) the only information is that they are all Strings.Thank you for the help,Joana Machado

Global Search - adding custom fields

Hello community, In our understanding it is possible to expand Global Search to include more tables, by configuring the roles. However, is it possible to expand Global Search to include more fields such as user_defs and custom fields?Thanks!!Kind Regards

Update Person using IFS REST API

Hi community,  We were trying to use the REST API to create/update person records, but are having some difficulties in the updating. According to the documentation of Odata/docs (swagger), to create a person you need to do a Post and in order to update the record you need to do a PATCH and pass the person_id in the url. However when we try to update using the guidelines provided in the documentation we receive an error - “Bad Request - Error in query syntax”. Has anyone ever got this error? Or does anyone know if we are missing something? We have used the same logic for updating a person_cal_except with success. Thank you for the help.Kind Regards, Joana Machado

Appointment

Hi Community,  We are exploring the Appointment Booking functionality and we understood that we can configure App Templates as blocking or non blocking.  If the App template is blocking, it will block the provided slots until the external system confirm one available slot or reject the app slots request. This will also reduce the overbooking scenario.  If the App template is non blocking, it will not block the provided slots until the external system confirm one available slot and it is not required the rejection call to release the slots. However, this will increase the overbooking scenario or the repeat calls to get slots since the system could reply saying that the slot is no longer available.  Could you please confirm our understanding? And please share with us if you got any pain point regarding the usability of this configuration?    Thank you, Best Regards, Joana Machado

PSO - use of polygons to define working areas.

FSM-PSO Crews management

Hi everyone,  We have a client with a FSM-PSO solution, and one of the requirements is to manage crews that are created and planned by them. We are aware that in FSM, more specifically in the task record, it is possible to use the field “Crew Size” to identify how many elements are needed to close the task. Does anyone know how to handle these requirements within FSM-PSO? We understand that there some limitations regarding integrations between FSM-PSO and we would like to know if anyone has some tips to handle this requirement following IFS best practices.  Thanks in advance, Joana Machado
