The customer is able to start their server following the file deletions described in https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/common-reason-why-you-get-server-failed-not-restartable-after-a-vm-restart-8315but they have to do this at every start. It seems like something in the shutdown fails, every time and leads to :Line 1675: <Dec 1, 2023 7:21:01 PM CST> <INFO> <IFSPROD> <AdminServer> <Adjusted state of server 'AdminServer ' from RUNNING to FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE> Line 1677: <Dec 1, 2023 7:21:01 PM CST> <INFO> <IFSPROD> <IntServer1> <Adjusted state of server 'IntServer1 ' from FORCE_SHUTTING_DOWN to FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE> Line 1679: <Dec 1, 2023 7:21:01 PM CST> <INFO> <IFSPROD> <MainServer1> <Adjusted state of server 'MainServer1 ' from FORCE_SHUTTING_DOWN to FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE> Line 1719: <Dec 1, 2023 7:40:20 PM CST> <INF
I’ve checked, and also recreated the client secret, but can’t get past this error. Are these credentials stored somewhere other than the IAM and the print agent config? Thanks. There was a page:https://wit.ifsworld.com/Technology/prodcert/PreviousPlatforms.htmcontaining supported platform info for older IFS versions. Is that information available somewhere else? Thanks.
The customer has asked which tools they can use. Is this itemized somewhere?Regarding:“The licensing for the IFS MWS does not allow any configuration done to Middle Tier components without the use of IFS Tools. “The customer has asked which of the tools they have are considered “IFS Tools”. And then specifically they would like to know what happens if they use things like the WebLogic console to make changes, or what happens if they make manual changes to Middleware configuration files. They consider these questions high priority. Their corporate security folks are requiring the IT team doing the installations to provide answers. So I’m trying to help with that.Thanks./Bob.
Apps10 customer is automating a full IFS installation and wants a script to set the IFS users passwords. Many of them are not difficult using the Oracle_Account_API, but several need the change made also in the admin console:ifssysifsconnectdocvueticketuseranonymousand one that can only be changed in the admin console:ifsmonIs there a way to automate those calls? I assume it’s Java coded. And for the user ifs, is there a way to script the call to the current file change_mws_password.cmd or to call the subsequent code?ThanksR Heard
Is it possible to configure Apps9 to use Windows Integrate Authentication with Security Checkpoints active? One customer is trying, and gets the login dialog, but no credentials work.I believe in Apps 8 this was not possible. And in Apps 10 it’s all different. But can this work in Apps 9? ThanksR Heard
