Is there a way in IFS Apps 10 to set a global variable similar to how the $INSTANCE variable works in the connect readers? I am looking to set up something for an external REST Api I am using in event actions so that I do not have to manually update the endpoint URL every time I import an updated app package into my test and production environments.
I am stumped. Can someone help or point me where to figure out how I can drop a file into the file reader, read it in, and create a new record in a custom logic unit?I know I could do this with existing LUs using BizAPI but the LU I’m using is custom and has no BizAPI for it.
When trying to start the local server for developer studio, I am getting an error even though my build succeeded and all of my libraries have been sync’d. ant -f C:\\Users\\jrmitchell\\source\\ifs\\EdiCoreWorkshop start-serverstart-server:C:\Users\jrmitchell\source\ifs\EdiCoreWorkshop\nbproject\build-impl.xml:1033: java.lang.NullPointerException at org.netbeans.modules.j2ee.ant.StartServer.execute(StartServer.java:110) at org.apache.tools.ant.UnknownElement.execute(UnknownElement.java:293) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor201.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:498) at org.apache.tools.ant.dispatch.DispatchUtils.execute(DispatchUtils.java:106) at org.apache.tools.ant.Task.perform(Task.java:348) at org.apache.tools.ant.Target.execute(Target.java:435) at org.apache.tools.ant.Target.performTasks(Target.java:456) at org.apache.tools.ant.Project.executeSortedTarget
Would anyone be able to tell me where I get the project root, or create the project root for APPS10? I am trying to start a new web services project but I have no idea where to get it. Thanks!
Hello all, I am trying to write customizations for our on premise installation of IFS, the BUILD_HOME I have is only on Update 4 and our install is on Update 9. Is there a way I can update the build home?
Does anyone know if there is a way to schedule a database task using PL/SQL or Package method calls? I found the information regarding the scheduler syntax but our dates I would like to use are not set in stone and are changed yearly based on accounting periods...
I want to know if it is possible to have one incoming customer schedule (DELSCH) through EDI that has multiple part numbers that get parsed out into their own incoming customer schedules. I see the XML Schema allows for multiple Article Lines with a Part No field and the Demand Lines also have a Part No field. When I tried to do this however, I get multiple customer schedules for each article line with the demand lines duplicated across all of the schedules.
I would like to set up IFS to receive 856 acknowledgements (997) from our customers. The end goal would be that it would update the shipment status to let our shipping associates whether the ASN was sent successfully or had errors. I found a reference to RECADV2 in the IFS Application Online Documentation under Shipment, Order Delivery but it appears to be a dead end.
