We have a product deployed at the site of multiple customers and that application is using IFS 9/10 and the .NET Access Provider to connect to IFS. We have 2 customers that are still using IFS 9 and both have connection problems to IFS 9 since last night. There was no change to our product and both customers use different versions of our product anyway. Is there any changes done to IFS 9 like an update or an end-of-support date that happened recently? The error is (URL/username were edited):Cannot connect to IFS using URL 'http://ifsurl:60000/' and username 'IFSUSER'.Unexpected error while calling server method AccessPlsql/InvokeThe URI http://ifsurl:60000/main/compatibility/clientgateway cannot be found. Please contact your system administrator. The access to IFS 9 itself - using Entreprise Explorer and the same login information - is correct in both sites.
My problem is similar to this one:Except that it happens when I try to created an Activity in the Project Navigator. If I try the steps described in the link above, it is still not working. I also tried these steps below - very similar - without success: I ran that query in Oracle SQL Developer to find the incorrect indexes and I have 3.select index_name,index_type,status,domidx_status,domidx_opstatus from user_indexes where index_type like '%DOMAIN%' and (domidx_status <> 'VALID' or domidx_opstatus <> 'VALID'); Following the two procedures above on all three incorrect indexes solved nothing. In the Search Domain page of an incorrect index, trying to drop that index displays that error:internal error code, arguments: [12806], [kkdcdtc: missing object], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []Failed executing statement (ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [12806], [kkdcdtc: missing object], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []) After that, I am able to complete the st
Hi,I am trying to authenticate with IFS 10 using Azure AD. That authentication works correctly when Aurena or Entreprise Explorer are used. When trying to access from an external .NET program, it is not working. The token seems to be wrong and an "Error 401--Unauthorized" error is returned. The original program is a WPF application but I written a console app to extract (and rework) the authentication logic but the result is still the same one. A code nearly identical is working in other projects where we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO instead of IFS as the ERP.The NuGet packages used are:- Microsoft.Azure.ActiveDirectory.GraphClient 2.1.1- Microsoft.Identity.Client 4.43.1- Newtonsoft.Json 13.0.1- RestSharpSigned 105.2.3The main code, cleaned for clarity, is as follow:System.Net.ServicePointManager.ServerCertificateValidationCallback = (sender, certificate, chain, sslPolicyErrors) =>{ return true;};System.Net.ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = System
I am able to generate and use a token with Postman but I cannot replicate that behavior in .NET code.1. In Postman, I first generate a new token. 2. Authentication worked so I can proceed. 3. I copy the id_token in the clipboard and click on the 'Use Token' button. 4. Instead of using the access-token directly, I paste the id_token in the token box of a get request and send it. 5. If I do not execute step 4, the rest of the procedure does not work.6. After that step, I can query data from projections or metadata. When replicating this programmatically, I tried many different variations without success (one of my multiple attempts in image below). How can this kind of authentication be done?
I am trying to use projection PartsHandling in IFS10 update 8 with a C#/VB program, .NET 4.7.2, NuGet package Microsoft.OData.Client v7.7.1.Reading many parts works:GET /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet?$select=PartNo,Description&$skip=150&$top=50 HTTP/1.1Reading a single part works correctly:GET /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet?$filter=PartNo eq 'MYPART'&$top=1&$count=true HTTP/1.1Creating a part also works:POST /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet HTTP/1.1But updating the same part does not work:PATCH /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/PartsHandling.svc/PartCatalogSet('MYPART') HTTP/1.1I got that error:{"error":{"code":"ODP_NOT_ALLOWED","message":"Illegal operation."}}I did not find documentation about ODP_NOT_ALLOWED but it probably mean "OData PATCH not allowed". I looked at the documentation in Aurena, under API Explorer, for the PartsHandling projection and the
We are using IFS Apps 10 + Update 11. We had a connection problem a few days ago and nobody was able to access Aurena (web interface) and Entreprise Explorer anymore. Usually restarting the services correct this kind of problem but it was not enough this time. We restarted the server as well but it took a long time and Windows completed some updates during that reboot. Once completed, the reboot lead to no result as well. The error message returned when trying to access Aurena is: Error 404--Not FoundThe error message returned when trying to start EE is: Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log. * Activation of https://ispd-agni1.irisco.local:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. We are trying to access IFS 10 using its REST services. To configure the Authentification required, we are trying to access to the "IFS Middleware Server Admin Console" as explained on some websites (example: https://community.ifs.com/technology-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/aurena-authentification-and-token-831) but we are not able to login into that console. Any account tried is failing with error "User Not Allowed". We tried IFSAPP and many other accounts with high privileges (or all of them) without success. Most of the users we tried have full admin rights. All these user accounts can access Entreprise Explorer and Aurena without problems. How can we gain access to the "IFS Middleware Server Admin Console" in order to configure the Authentification of REST services?
