Hey, long shot. Can anyone point me in the direction in Apps8 where I can find how IFS is pulling pricing for a byproduct? We have a by product with the same base and the byproduct has come out with a much lower price than it should be. Where can I find where this is pulling from and/or why is it different? thank you!
When we do an MTR is there a way to set the UOM to 100 for a particular part number? Right now we have some items in packs of a 100 and if someone wants 99 we really need to just pull 100 regardless since they are small items in bulk packs? We can’t seem to find a place to do this, anyone? We are currently in Apps 8 moving to 10 at some point. thank you!
Seems like this should be easy, but we are having difficulty sharing product from one activity sequence or project to many other activity sequences or projects. We don’t want the inventory from those other projects to be shared at all. We’ve messed around with a few settings in PMRP and can’t seem to get it right. Has anyone else had to do this? Like I said it seems ‘simple’. Many thanks!
We are running Apps8 and we are going to be moving our current stock to a new warehouse. Is there is an easy way to do a bulk inventory move? We’ve looked into a simple find & replace and that only works on certain fields, not location. Most are serialized items that obviously already exist in IFS. Doing them via Inventory Part in Stock will take a very long time. My assumption is there is a way to do this, but being fairly new to IFS we aren’t quite sure. Does anyone have a good way to move these assets in bulk? Thank you in advance!!
I’m curious what the Parent Part Field is used for on the Material Tab in a Shop Order? I understand what parent means, but I’m curious who uses that field and what it’s used for, or tied to? We don’t use IFS as our engineering tool, is that what it would pull from, or? Thank you!
