Hi there, Does anyone know what username and password should be entered into the boot.properties file for the adminserver? wls_domain\CST1\servers\AdminServer\security\boot.properties I am trying to get an old test verson up and running, I get the following error in the AdminServer.log Here is the exception from the log: Caused By: weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: Authentication denied: Boot identity not valid. The user name or password or both from the boot identity file (boot.properties) is not valid. The boot identity may have been changed since the boot identity file was created. Please edit and update the boot identity file with the proper values of username and password. The first time the updated boot identity file is used to start the server, these new values are encrypted.
Hi, Can someone please provide list of valid mimetypes for the E-Invoice Invoice Attachment. The e-invoice is working fine of PDF attachments, but I cannot get it to work for JPEG or PNG. These are defined in the Document Management base data. Would also like to know the correct values for Document Type. Regards,Kevin
Hi,In Apps 9 there was a link to a Tips & Tricks portal, this portal had some useful videos on the search dialog. This portal has been taken down, I searched the IFS videos on youtube which has replaced this and I can’t find a good video or PDF explaining the search functionality for Apps 9. The search dialog (F3) is a powerful tool, I don’t have anything to give to new users, if I could get something it would save me having to create something.Thanks,Kevin
Hi, We are looking at using Mendix as a low code/no code platform for building web and mobile apps that would utilise the IFS PL/SQL API’s for interacting with the database. I have seen MS Power Apps mentioned in other threads, Mendix would be an alternative to this. Has anybody had any experience with Mendix that could recommend it as a platform?Regards, Kevin
Hello, We have supplier invoices dated 31/01 however the invoices are being pulled in for payment at the end of March instead of the end of February with the payment terms of 30 days end of month due to there only being 29 days in February this year.Is there any rule that can be created to capture this and automatically change the payment date without it being manually changed? Hi,Up to this point we have only used english as the language in IEE (Apps 9)We now wish to use french aswell.I enabled French in the Used Languages page and refreshed the language cache. That appeared to run fine, there were no errors reported by the background jobs.French is still not available in the IEE client. I see there are 2 folders in the IEE client runtime folder on the server, these contain resource DLLs. If there is are any users who use an alternative language to en-US or en-GB can you please let me know if you have a corresponding folder for that language in the client runtime folder. Hi, We are using IFS Apps 9. I think this is also relevant to Apps 10 and beyond. We are beginning a project to integrate IFS with an external CRM, Hubspot in this instance, although it could be any CRM or external system. If we were to maintain the Customer Info, Customer Info Address, Customer Info Contact, Person Info and Comm Methods in both systems, should be be looking at maintaining a 2 way data sync or just adopt a master/slave scenario. If an object is going to be updated in the external system, then should that system refresh the object (Customer Info Address for example) from IFS to make sure it has the most recent version with the most recent Objversion. Then when the record is saved to the external system it is also saved to IFS.Or should should updates to the Customer Info Address in IFS be prohibited and only the CRM can be used for updating the Customer Info Address. How have others approached this? Regards, Kevin
