We use the Shop Order Requisition Release screen to create shop orders. There is a “Comp Qty Req” field within the Component Availability section (that is calculated after using the “Calculation Component Availability” button). This works for us on a per-shop-order-basis. However…Is there a way to see “Comp Qty Req” for multiple Shop Order Reqs at once? Extra Info: We purchase some required raw material after the orders have been released. We would like to see the total “Comp Qty Req” for the 50+ orders we [plan to] release at a time. Currently we have to look at each requisition and record the “Comp Qty Req” and add them all together.
When trying to add a new Inventory Part I am getting a system error that says, “Part Main Group is Mandatory. Please Update”. Does anyone know what field this refers to or how to resolve? Thanks
When viewing component parts on the Product Structure page the Component Part column is formatted like: “Part Number - Description”. When you export to Excel, this column is formatted the same way. We would like a dedicated column for Part Number, and a dedicated column for Description. Is there a way to achieve? Thanks
Our company has one manufacturing site that supplies all other [seven] sites using distribution orders. So, our main site (Site1) has a mix of [Inventory Part] Part Types of Manufactured and Purchased while the other sites (Site2-Site8) have all Part Type = Purchased Raw. We would like the cost structure of our inventory parts to be identical throughout all sites. Currently, Site1 uses Costing Template M-110 which breaks out cost into cost buckets 100, 200, and 221. Site2-Site8 uses costing template P-110 which accumulates all of the cost in bucket 110 (because these parts are “purchased”). Is is possible to make all 8 sites have the same [M110] cost structure that break the costs out into the three different buckets? (even though Site2-Site8 does not have product structures or routings in their sites...) Furthermore, we update all our part costs periodically. We plan to calculate the cost in Site1 (because this is where the product structures and routings exist) but then would like it
Is it possible to perform a “All Parts Cost Calculation” for multiple sites at once? We have 8 sites, all under the same company. We have one main manufacturing site that sources inventory to all the other sites (hub and spoke model). We need to periodically “rollup”/calculate standard costs for our main manufacturing site. We also want all costs to be consistent throughout all of our sites. Thus, we must roll the cost at our main site first, then all other sites to make sure the costs match.Rather then calculating [then copying to cost set 1] 8 separate times, can we perform it once for our main site and once for all (7 total) other sites?I am using IFS Aurena Apps 10 btwP.S. the Site parameter on the “All Parts Cost Calculation” screen does not allow me to use semi-colons to specific multiple values e.g. Site1;Site2;Site3,...
