Hi There I believe some of the restrictions are around how you integrate with the system itself. If you want to integrate then you need to use the Access Provider to do so and when making any calls to IFS you must use IFS Business Logic. You cannot create any custom tables and you can’t write your own applications that would work with IFS. The use of Oracle is restricted to the scope of the IFS application so you cannot create your own databases. Everything you do within the system must be confined within the scope of the application use for Oracle.
Hi Arebbeadle. You can set-up routing rules in IFS connect to send the files to the specified directory and you can have many output directories. You just need to define the criteria in the routing rules. We have set this up for a number of different uses so if you need more information just let me know.
Have you looked at using the OUTER APPLY option in Oracle? This might let you achieve what you are trying to do and would simplify this.
Looking at the company field in the view you are joining, the field length may be around 2000 for the field company. If this is the case I am sure expressions are limited to specific maximum field length, so this might be the issue.
I think you need to prefix the field identifier with the database schema. So instead of Select Value from prin1app.comm_Method WhereCompany_ID ="CUST_STMT_ACCT_REP"."COMPANY" AND Party_type = 'Company' ANDMethod_ID = 'Phone' ANDMethod_Default = 'TRUE' It would be :Select Value from ifsapp.prin1app.comm_Method WhereCompany_ID ="IFSAPP.CUST_STMT_ACCT_REP"."COMPANY" AND Party_type = 'Company' ANDMethod_ID = 'Phone' ANDMethod_Default = 'TRUE'
