Hi Eddie,If you commit the work of the other technicians before unallocating the work of the sick technician then nothing should get displaced this could be achieved with some commit rules otherwise the optimiser is free to create an optimal schedule using the uncommit work. Thanks,Reece
Hi Kent,Unfortunately there is no way of doing this currently. Thanks,Reece
Hi Kent,There is currently no way of removing the GPS fixes from the map. If you could raise an idea in the community. Thanks,Reece
Hi Markus,Please an idea in the community and we will get the product team to consider this. Thanks,Reece
Hi Chandan,A way of doing this has been added in the 6.12 release of PSO which should be available next month. Thanks,Reece
Hi,The regions tab is not applicable when viewing filters that have dataset sharing set to all datasets (you can see this in the Sharing tab of the same panel). this is done since the ‘regions’ tab is a check box to filter out regions of a dataset, these are not applicable to other datasets. It is for this reason we only allow advanced filtering for resources and activities on global (all dataset) filters too.For the import button being disabled, datasets are only importable when they are a global filter which has the permission to be shared with the user (this is again in the sharing tab of the panel). This will also only show if the user has not already imported the filter. In the screenshot that you have shared none of the filters will be importable since the ‘show all’ button is set to false so all the filters in that list are already available to the dataset you are on. Depending on the version you are on if you select the ‘show all’ button two built filters called ‘TimeZone exact
Hi Shiyaz,Attention text raises a new exception for an activity with the exception type ‘Resource Attention’. The value that you set as attention text will appear in that exception as the ‘reason’. Thanks,Reece
Hi Malte,Deleting shifts in the scheduling workspace should have no effect on anything in the planning workspace. The only way that resources would be deleted from the resources page in the planning workspace would be either manually doing so or by importing ARP data that overwrites the previous resources
It is hard to say without seeing your data. If you are on PSO version 6.10 then you can use the new explainability page, this page gives you a breakdown of why an activity has not been scheduled to a different resource or position in a shift. This might help with your questions. Hope this helps
Hi, The compare screen simply allows the user to quickly compare any number of activity or resource details next to one another. There are two dropdowns that have a multi select to choose what you wish to compare. The assistance page helps the user to match activities to resources. By clicking on an activity in the top grid a list of resources which are suitable for that activity are display in a grid below. For a more detailed explanation of these pages though please review section 7 and 8 of the PSO Workbench User Guide. Thanks,Reece
Hi Malte,More information on this problem would be helpful. However, assuming that your issue is that resources are not showing on the gantt in the scheduling workspace this would be due to resources not being displayed on the gantt if they do not contain a shift in the scheduling window. Since you have deleted all your shifts this is to be expected.
Hi Keith, As Sajith mentioned these lists cannot be edited as they are set to have fixed entries. If you wish to modify the labels in the planning workspace you can set parameters with the following naming convention ARP{planning object}LabelFormat e.g. ‘ARPResourceLabelFormat’.
