Would auto authorize running also allow for freight charges to get captured if using the freight interface? Right now, when using the credit card interface with the freight interface does not allow for the additional freight charge to be captured because the credit card processing requires pre-authorization and this step is done at the release of the order.
I have the same problem. I need to tell IFS to ignore the first row of the CSV file. I follow the directions above but still received an unpack error. Row one is the header row to be ignored. External file template:What do I put in the external file template control for the control string?
Bumping an old thread but another connected problem. For those using freight interface, how do you handle shipments where you do not want to charge either the customer on the order or the customer’s freight account for shipments? In other words, our company is shipping the product to the customer for free. Our company is using our own freight account. We keep experiencing IFS adding the charge to the customer order under the charges tab. We don’t want any charge for freight to the customer. Thank you!
Reserved parts are included in the count report. Reserve can be simplified to mean the parts are allocated to an order but not with the order yet. Reserved parts are still sitting on the inventory location. Issued parts are issued to the shop order and no longer in inventory at the designated location but instead with the shop order. Issued parts will not be on the count report.
We have the same issue. If the customer pays an Advance Invoice but there is a bank fee of say $10, we write off the $10 in the mixed payment on the line to write off code BC for bank charges. The customer AD invoice is now paid in full. However, there is a glitch. IFS will not read the invoice as paid in full and therefore the order will block. The only solution we’ve found is to enter a separate line for the write off. More work. I think this is a bug.
