I found the reason why we had this behavior by doing more tests with one of the customer. The .NET Access Provider DLLs our product was using for IFS 9 were outdated. The version used was 9.0.16.0. I asked one customer to copy the DLLs from his IFS server into the directory of our product and it solved the problem. The copied DLLs were at version 9.0.41.0. I planned to update the DLLs used within our product for the next setups/hotfixes. I do not know why it broke suddently - the same day at both sites - but we now have a working solution.I will select the answer of @dsj as the best one since it is the nearest of the solution found (problem with the version of the DLLs used). Thank you everybody for the help.
Hi @dsj ,You are right that it happened many times - when reinstalling our product on the sites of these two clients - that the IFS 10 DLLs were used instead (the DLLs of IFS 10 are installed by default by our product). I forgot to mention that this time we checked and it is not the case: the DLLs for IFS 9 (File version = 9.0.16.0) are in place in the directory where our product loads its DLLs.
Your first query (SELECT t.*,t.status FROM user_indexes t WHERE status NOT IN 'VALID') returns a single INDEX_NAME with a value of ITEM_CLASS_CAUSE_MV_PK. I tried to rebuild that index but it returned an error: An error was encountered performing the requested operation: ORA-01452: cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found 01452. 00000 - "cannot CREATE UNIQUE INDEX; duplicate keys found" *Cause: *Action: Vendor code 1452That index seems to be the primary key of table ITEM_CLASS_CAUSE_MV so it is probably not related to my problem. The second query returns 124 indexes with a STATUS equals to “N/A” and 1 index with a STATUS of “UNUSABLE” (it is ITEM_CLASS_CAUSE_MV_PK). I tried to find some of these 125 indexes into IFS EE but I found only ITEM_CLASS_CAUSE_MV.I already tested the third one and it returns the same 3 indexes that I cannot rebuild in IFS or in Oracle SQL Developer (the last one, ACTIVITY_TIX, being to one that is causing me problems): CUSTOMER_INVOI
Thank you for the link. I finally found a solution in a blog from Damith Jinasena : https://dsj23.me/2021/01/08/ifs-authentication-flow-with-oauth-and-openid-connect/Trying in my app using the details provided on this webpage did not work so I tried with his Sample app to demo OAuth2 from with PKCE in IFS 10 at the end of his blog: https://dsj23.me/2021/01/08/ifs-authentication-flow-with-oauth-and-openid-connect/#sample-app-to-demo-oauth2-flow-with-pkce-in-ifs-10If that link above is broken, it opens this GitHub page: https://github.com/knakit/IFS-OAuthThat app was working with our own IFS instance but not with the IFS instance of our customer who was using ADFS as described in the link sent in the response of Ravi De Silva (I tried with the information in that page but same result: ok here but not working with our customer’s IFS).Displaying a browser is required (as in solution from Damith Jinasena) but I realized that the corrent callback URL to use is not the one calculated by his s
The .ear and .war were missing, effectively. That was not enough to correct the problem so we had to reapply the latest update (11) over IFS to gain back the access to the Middleware Server Admin Console (we lost it a few days after Aurena and EE, maybe due to all the correction attempts done). After update 11, the .ear and .war files were erased again so we had to put them back a second time and we were able to complete the procedure of Charith Epitawatta. We can now access Aurena et EE (as well as the Middleware Server Admin Console). Thank you for the help.
Hi Dhananjaya,The solution that worked is your point #3 : try removing the “If-Match” parameter from the header. After removing it, the Update operation worked correctly. Thank you for the help.Michel
Hi,I tested with the added PartNo= in the query but the error is the same at the end. There is no more information than error message {"error":{"code":"ODP_NOT_ALLOWED","message":"Illegal operation."}} when this problem occurs.Michel
Our IFS admin reviewed the scripts and found the IFS password in them. We tried it and it is working. Thank you all for the help.
Hi William, I am not able to connect using the “IFS” account. I do not have the password of that account. In order to force a new password, I looked at all the users beginning by “IFS” in the Oracle User Management form in Entreprise Explorer and I see 13 users in that case but none is simply “IFS”. Is “IFS” a special login not listed there? I already asked the guy who installed our IFS instance and he was not able to give me any special login/account used/created during the initial installation (it’s like there is none).
