It is difficult to say how to address this based on this information, but the typical cause of a deadlock in a nightly batch job would be that you have multiple posted background jobs and the batch queue is set up with a value for Processes that is larger than 1. This allows multiple background jobs to execute in parallel, which can cause deadlocks. The resolution for this is then to reduce the Processes to 1 for the batch queue.There could so also be a background job in a different batch queue running at the same time that is causing the deadlock. If possible put both methods/jobs in the same batch queue and set the Processes to 1 so they gets executed sequentially instead of in parallel.By looking at the Oracle Trace files that are generated when a deadlock is detected and resolved, you can get an idea which other session was involved in the deadlock, which will give clues in how to organise your batch queues to minimise the risk of deadlocks. It is however quite technical to investi
I assume here that your are trying to use a date in an event action PL/SQL block. This bit of SQL hopefully explains which formats you should use: SELECT Fnd_Setting_API.Get_Value('EVENT_REG_DATE') event_date_format, Fnd_Setting_API.Get_Value('EVENT_REG_DATETIME') event_datetime_format, to_date('2022-12-31', Fnd_Setting_API.Get_Value('EVENT_REG_DATE')) test_date, to_date('2022-12-31 23.59.59', Fnd_Setting_API.Get_Value('EVENT_REG_DATETIME')) test_datetimeFROM dual;
Hi Damith, No, security in Aurena is based on the projections, so if you grant a projection to a user, that user will get access to all the pages belonging to that projection. I’m afraid you will have to hide the navigator entries for the pages you do not want the users to see. Regards,Krister
I think what you are after is the function Work_Time_Calendar_API.Get_End_Date. The third parameter is duration_ (in number of days) and you can enter 2 there. So if your calendar is set up without weekend days, if you enter a date that is e.g. a Friday, with duration 2, it would return the date for Tuesday the next week.A work calendar can also be set up with exceptions for public/bank holidays like Christmas Day etc and the above method will handle that as well.
